Dog Academy has proven to be a trustworthy and diligent resource, providing support exactly when it is needed most. While any breed can technically be trained as a service dog, the reality of preparing an assistant animal—especially a high-energy breed like a Red Heeler—demands a significant investment of time and effort. This intensity is often why professional programs are so expensive. Dog Academy makes this path far more accessible to more people by offering a structured and affordable alternative. However, it is important to go in with clear expectations: success requires a high level of personal dedication and a major time commitment. For those who are ready to put in the work, this is an excellent resource for navigating the training process and achieving independence with your service animal.

Hi Edward, Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We truly appreciate you highlighting both the value of the program and the level of dedication it takes to train a service animal — especially with such an energetic breed. Thank you for trusting us and allowing us to support you on your journey. Your insight will be incredibly helpful for others as they begin theirs. Warm regards, Dog Academy

Krystal is exactly what my dog and I were looking for. She gave us loads of information and things to work on until we meet again. She listened and was very patient. I'm looking forward to our next visit.
