Melissa was incredibly kind and knowledgeable in helping me and my service dog get approved by a service that Jet Blue is now using to vet and screen service animals and their handlers. She spent time with me on the phone to craft a thorough response that she thought would hit all the issues and be acceptable to the service. She gave me incredible customer service and I'm quite sure I would still be getting rejected by the service if not for Melissa's help. Just a bit more background:When asking for approval, I described the commands I use for DPT, but this service kept refusing to approve me and my dog and kept asking what body part for DPT after I repeatedly told them my lap and foot. Apparently, some airlines are no longer accepting the filled out official DOT service animal transportation form. Instead, the handler/traveler must give detailed information about the dog's training in order to be "approved" as a service dog before the handler/traveler can enter the dog as a service animal on the airline's website. In other words, it's a two-step vetting process. Not sure if this is even legit, as I thought they were limited by the ADA to the questions they can ask. The name of the company vetting certified trained service dogs is Open Doors Organization.

I highly recommend this program. We had nothing but great experience and great customer service. We never waited more than 24h for the response on any of our questions that we asked . Program made us to fully participate in the process, learn how to train our dog, and learn why certain methods are used which we have been able to incorporate regularly outside of just training sessions. Also, very helpful guide in getting our dog certified as a service dog.

this program guided me to teach my dog Aladdin through out online course training. My dog already been trained when he was 2 years done puppy, basic classes. Now he is 5 years This program went beyond basic taking online course then must pass on public access test with video proven well behavior, calm manner. I need to take Aladdin (PSD) to anywhere and anytime and feeling safe many places. I know I have failed you before but with redo your re-emphasis guided my dog deeper training accuracy. I know my dog has the (PSD) but still more works to accomplish. I realize training (PSD) isn't just a hobby but a responsibility out there in public. It is set to be a lifetime for both me and Aladdin. This program is set to be worth a lifetime training so I would recommend this program to many dog's owners.

Very detailed and accessible course, which provides step by step training and testing opportunities.

It takes lots of patience, love, dedication and time to train a PSD dog. Such a service dog can help lots of people and sets an example to other dog owners. It is taken serious by the ADA. One out of five people experience some sort of mental illness. A PSD dog is a great solution to improve a handler's daily life.

I had the most wonderful conversation with Reese. He was super polite and helpful and had me smiling the whole time. I am so informed of all the different training options and feel super confident that my dog and I will have success with this program! The fact that it is entirely positive training, and honest about my money, it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I truly thought I would only need an in person trainer, but Reese explained in such detail all aspects of program types that I am super confident that we will have success with virtual sessions! Also, I never knew I could have my dog become a service dog! She has many anxieties herself and I always assumed that would hinder her ability to be my service dog, but Dog Academy has a program for everything! It is very reasonably priced, with great reputable trainers! It is also so amazing that I will be able to ask my virtual trainer for any tips with my service dog training course. Reese was such a joy. He was so real, truthful, and honest! I have spoken with MANY training companies trying to find the right fit, and honestly after the first 10 minutes I knew this was the right program for us. Reese answered every single one of my many many questions, and did not make me feel rushed or anything! He truly took his time to answer in as much detail as I needed, and answered the follow ups to my follow up questions! I don’t think I have ever had a customer service experience as amazing as I did with Reese. I was regretting starting with a trainer and feeling a bit discouraged, but I am so excited to start and motivated that we will have success with our trainer - all thanks to Reese. AND if I ever need anything, I can always call and request his assistance again. Thank you Reese!!!! You are the best!!!!
