This was fun! My dog and I are learning together. We are continuing the training every day. Yesterday, I got him to heel past a bird without barking. It was amazing! I really love the "Touch" command. My dog actually will place his paw on my arm when I give him the command. It's very calming and loving. Thank you so much!

Chiweenies are a fantastic breed, my dog (named Samuel L Jackson) is a energetic, loyal, and highly loving dog They are absolutely vocal however, he whines, barks etc to things he wants/needs You can absolutely have a conversation with him haha. Definitely a good first dog as well May act defensive, but ultimately will listen to you when it comes to new things Otherwise they can also be extremely stubborn and vocal Had mine since 2014, most of which has been in a apartment. 10/10, would absolutely get again, and is w/o a doubt one the best breeds to get

So far so good. I loved the training suggestions that came with the paid course. I did NOT purchase any obedience class because I’ve taken SEVERAL dogs to basic obedience class in the past and felt that I knew the basics of HOW to train. The Psychiatric Dog training is much different and my dog doesn’t actually mark cues or prevent any anxiety attacks HOWEVER her calm demeanor and attachment to me helps me profusely!! She is a “natural” snuggler and extremely affectionate and that alone calms me down. It was the basic obedience that we struggled with because she’s a tiny toy breed so ANY time we went to a store or restaurant or public place EVERYONE wanted to touch or pet or get her attention, we struggle, to this day, to keep her attention on ME and no one else but considering she’s still a “puppy” 10 months now; she’s doing VERY well!
