Title: DocTranslator charged me $29.99 without any clear warning after a one-time translation order I used DocTranslator because I needed a one-time translation of a marriage certificate. I found the service through Google and came to the website only to translate one document. I paid for the translation and received the translated document after waiting several days. This was supposed to be a one-time document translation order. A few days later, DocTranslator charged my card an additional $29.99. This charge was made without any clear warning, without a separate confirmation, and without any obvious notice that my card would be charged again after the translation order. I did not receive a clear, direct, and unavoidable warning at checkout saying that I would be automatically charged $29.99 later. I was not asked to separately confirm a subscription. I was not clearly informed that a one-time translation order would turn into a paid subscription. When I contacted DocTranslator Support and requested a refund, they refused. Their support team replied that the checkout page “indicated” a 7-day trial and that I would be charged $29.99 automatically unless canceled beforehand. This is exactly the problem. If a company is going to charge a customer’s card later, this must be shown in a clear, direct, and unmistakable way. It should not be hidden inside checkout wording or presented in a way that a customer ordering a single document translation can miss. I came to DocTranslator for one translated document. I did not come to buy a subscription. I paid for the translation, received the translation, and then they charged me another $29.99 without any clear warning. In my opinion, this is a misleading billing practice. A customer should not be charged for a subscription after a one-time document translation unless the subscription is clearly presented, separately confirmed, and impossible to miss. DocTranslator refused to refund the $29.99 charge. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this service. Be extremely careful before entering your card details on DocTranslator. Take screenshots of every checkout step, check for hidden subscription terms, and cancel immediately if you see anything related to a trial or recurring billing.

These bast-ards offer a free week. Then you are trapped into paying indefinately, as their "deactivation" button does not work. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE CROOKS

Sneaky subscription. Paid for a single translation. Didnt mention you are automatically subscribing for a monthly fee. Didnt want to refund while not denying the auto subscription embedded with the initial single translation fee. Be very careful.

I am extremely disappointed with DocTranslator. I was charged twice ($13.55 and $14.99) within a short period, even though my account dashboard clearly shows 0 words translated and a $0.00 balance. I have reached out to their support (Jessica S.), providing screenshots as proof that I have not used the service at all. Despite their own policy stating they consider refunds for unused subscriptions, they refused to return my money. It feels like a subscription trap where they keep charging you even when no service is rendered. I have already initiated a chargeback with my bank (AIK Bank) and reported this as unauthorized billing. If you are considering using this service, be very careful with your credit card details. They make it very difficult to cancel and refuse to honor their own refund terms. Status: Still waiting for my $28.54 refund.

SCAM! Tried to translate one document, the result wasn't good enough for me. I paid for the translation. Next month they charged me 15-ish USD for some kind of subscription. I checked email, no notifications about that, nothing. Tried to dispute the payment with my bank - for some reason bank decided that they are right and I'm wrong. SCAM! Serveral times its written that its free but if u use any of their services they will count it as a subscription and charge u with a payed plan every month, even there is a "free" plan as option. The "support" then says u got informed about it but I didnt recieve any messages in any form, or did I click somewhere that I agreed a subscription. If its written somewhere its hidden. From my own expirience: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
