"Cheap" and poor machine translation. Gave it a try and translated 1-page document. The result was disappointing, any free online translator would do the same job. I paid a couple of euros, not a big deal for experience. However, one month later i received a bill for 17 euros for subscription to which i never consented! It's an obvious scam and it seems the company does it intentionally. Do not recommend their service and will never use it again. Update: money was returned within a few days upon request. Nevertheless, the process of subscription is not transparent and quite misleading.

I just had a go with Doc Translator. Although they have a disclaimer saying it might not be perfect, the translation output was very, very disappointing to say the least. Translation was a 10 page PDF file from Japanese to English. I was surprised that even the first page which only had a title of the following pages on it, it completely came out blank (wish I could paste a screen shot of before and after here!) , so did the following two pages! Completely blank! it was simple Japanese text! I had paid with PayPal (about 2 USD) for this specific translation. I thought it was a one off payment. I immediately went to cancel my account after the sub par translation and page output, (thank god i checked) and to my surprise there was a 9.99 USD recurring monthly subscription that it had automatically set up without my consent for "file storage". I cancelled this before deleting my account !!! I had already downloaded my file so why would I need this cloud storage, even if some people wanted this feature, they should definitely ask/make it obvious to the customer first that this is part of the sign up deal!! Never again, bit sus, steer clear.

I had a two-page document to be translated. But the second page came out blank. So Doc Translator charged me again to complete the job that was missed. Later the same month, a new charge for $14.99 appeared on my credit card out of nowhere. I never used them again to warrant a new charge. Their customer service always blames AI for mistakes. They are cheaters and don't refund any money. Be aware!

Even if it would be a free translation it didn't worth it at all. They took money and gave a translation of unacceptable quality

such a scam. if its a paid site then be upfront with it. dont lead us by the nose right to the end and that slap a cost on it scummy

BECAUSE GOOGLE TRANSLATE WON'T ACCEPT FILES LARGER THAN 10 MB, HEADED OVER TO THIS SITE, WHERE IT WAS NOWHERE MENTIONED THAT IT WAS STRICTLY A PAID SERVICE! MOREOVER, IT WAS NOWHERE MENTIONED THAT REGISTRATION WAS REQUIRED. LIKE CHEAP, SHADY PEOPLE, AFTER WE SELECT THE FILE, SELECT THE SOURCE AND OUTPUT LANGUAGES AND THEN UPLOADING THE ENTIRE FILE, THEY REDIRECT TO REGISTRATION. SO I REGISTERED AND THEN THE FILE DISAPPEARS AND I HAVE TO UPLOAD AGAIN. THEN, AFTER UPLOADING AGAIN THEY REDIRECT TO PAYMENT AND MENTION A HEFTY PRICE. WHAT CHEAP AND SHADY PEOPLE WHO WON'T MENTION IT IN THE BEGINNING.

J’espère que je ne serai pas débité. De plus je n’ai pas reçu ma traduction alors que le paiement est bien passé. J’attends votre retour. Merci
