Ridiculous company. I have traded for over 12 years and was awarded a contract, only to have it taken away due to D&B not giving me a high enough score. On appealing, they advised that there was nothing negative about my company, all my accounts were up to date, I didn’t owe anyone anything. It was purely because my company didnt have lots of assets ! Even after explaining that this would cause redundancies, their robotic response was still negative. I even offered to show them 12 months bank statements that show a very healthy bank balance, but they would not give me any credit whatsoever. Just to clarify, I didn’t even need credit, it was the company I was due to work for needed to see I had at least some credit to be awarded the contract. They apparently have to use D & B. Other agencies credit reports for us were fine. Something should be done to stop them being allowed to do this. Totally unjustified, they noting about business. Just Robots !

Impossible to opt out once you sign up
I bought the first few reports with my credit card. So far so good. However now they automatically charge my credit card each year despite the fact that I sent them several emails and called them many times. This is a total scam.,.. impossible to opt out once you sign up. Dont fall for it.

DON'T RELY ON D&B FOR ACCURATE DATA
The enormous and ever-increasing suction created by Dun & Bradstreet is growing so powerful it threatens to create a black hole capable of sucking the entire planet into oblivion. They should be shut down for providing false data about companies and held liable for the damage they cause. In two cases for two separate businesses I attempted to correct their flawed data (which D&B gathered from sources outside the companies they were reporting on) and in both cases we initially used their online tools to resolve the inaccuracies. We got messages that read: “D-U-N-S® Manager encountered an unexpected error while processing your company update request submitted on 11/23/2020, resulting in a delay in processing your update request. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.” That message was received January 22, 2021…two months later!
So I attempted to correct the errors with actual staff, people who were provided documentation from governmental and other third parties that proved the D&B records were incorrect. Despite repeated assurances after providing all the requested evidence, what do they say later?
“Hi Bruce,
I submitted all updates but they’ve been rejected. I tried to get a resolution from customer service and their best input was that too many data updates are coming from a D&B rep vs. the business owner themselves. The advice I was given was to pass along the support link so that you can request the updates directly: www. support.dnb.com / 866-584-0283 for customer service. I’m not a customer service rep so I’m not totally familiar with their data policies, but it looks as though updates to things like principal contact info and legal structure changes needs to come from you directly. Sorry for any inconvenience – data security is something we’re pretty rigid on. Let me know if you have any questions navigating the support portal!”
This is the D&B round robin…go to the website, submit your corrections, encounter an unexpected error, see nothing corrected, call us and resubmit your corrections and company policy will restrict us from changing the false records because our craniums are tightly wedged near our colons and the bloated bureaucracy of our maliciously negligent corporation will guarantee continued, unending inconvenience for you…the business owner. Sorry, but we will be unable to cease distributing lies about your companies because we’re rigid with red tape and flaccid with facts.
For those of us who have wasted countless hours attempting to get this clusterpuck of a company to report actual facts only to discover D&B is so badly run that they deserve criminal prosecution for engaging in international fraud, the effort is hopeless. D&B stands for Defamation & Bull. The entire database is comprised of the stuff Matadors stand in. No wonder they are no longer a commonly utilized resource for serious businesspeople. The day they finally fail will be a day millions of unjustly represented entrepreneurs celebrate their demise. D&B is already dead to me.

Utdatert lureri

During this time of Covid 2020
During this time of Covid 2020, the HMRC extended filing deadlines by 3 months and the D&B rating system was not ajdusted to take this change into account thus plunging our and probably thousands of company rating to a non-creditworthy status.

Government Should Stop Requiring Registration in Their System!
I HATE that i have to use them register in the government's sam.gov system. Their website is confusing and glitchy. Their customer service is sub par. And worst of all, they constantly harass me trying to upsell me on services.
