The testing was done out in the open…
The testing was done out in the open with no patient privacy there wasn’t even a sanitary office for the collection to be done it took place in a waiting room because the patient rooms were being renovated and I don’t even know if the sample of the alleged father was taken correctly or the right individual because there was no picture to determine if in fact the collection was from the right individual.

To begin with the lab did not have us…
To begin with the lab did not have us fill out all the paperwork needed so then we had to redo paperwork in order to get the results and the results were late.

8/13/20: Thanks for testing with us, Dquanya. With this type of testing, regulations for a legal paternity report require that all paperwork be filled out correctly by test participants prior to submitting samples. In this case, unfortunately, there was an omission of a signature that required additional follow-up. No doubt waiting a little longer was difficult, but in order to maintain our accreditations, we must obtain corrected paperwork.

I did not enjoy my experience with DDC…
I did not enjoy my experience with DDC at all. I felt like I had the runaround I had to constantly call for updates to see if they received our samples I had to constantly call to see if results was available, come to find out they had the wrong email they had my email mixed up. When I gave them The correct email they still haven’t put it in because I still didn’t receive my results. I had to go on Google and search the correct DDC website and login for my results. I was supposed to get a direct link to my email but I did not. The other party that was tested was supposed to get a hardcopy and still haven’t gotten anything. The hard copy was supposed to been sent out three weeks ago and he still haven’t received it I paid $10 just to get this hardcopy sent out and still nothing... overall this is the experience was terrible and I hate High Hopes for the company..

8/10/20: We're so sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with us. Your complaint about the incorrect email address is a valid one and is being addressed internally. Providing top-notch customer service is important to us, and we're constantly striving to improve. In regards to the other issue, we cannot mail out a hard copy of the report until it is issued, which was 10 days ago on 7/31, and the report was mailed out that same day. I see you spoke with us today and were advised that if the hard copy doesn't arrive within a few days to give us a call and we'll expedite one to you. One of our managers reached out to you via phone today and left a voicemail.

8/10/20: Our records show the pictures you requested were mailed on July 30 via standard mail, so they should arrive sometime this week. We're resending them via expedited 2-day at no charge as a courtesy.

8/10/20: Hi! Thanks for testing with us. As explained in your phone call with us on July 30, a hard copy of results was not requested by either party at the time of DNA collection. So in order to obtain a hard-copy report after results are issued, regulations require the following: > On a blank piece of paper, write your full name > Write your full address > Sign/date and put your case# > Take a clear photo with your cell phone > Email the above to us at [email protected] or fax 513-881-7803 Once you do that, we'll expedite your report to you. Better Customer Service please
We mailed in our samples last Thursday (7 days ago). I emailed them a few days ago asking if we would receive a notification once the samples were received at the lab. They haven't responded. I'm guessing the answer to that is no because my samples were mailed from MO which isn't that far from OH. I'm sure they should've been received by now. I'm anxious because my baby has been neglected during my entire pregnancy and the 3 months he's been here. I recommend DDC works on their communication. Keep YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS informed of where they are in the process to ease alot of worry and questions. As much as ur services cost, we, at least, deserve that much.

8-6-20: Thanks for testing with us. If you used the postage-paid envelope included in the kit, it can take up to 10 days for the US Postal Service to deliver it to us. They've been pretty close to the 10-day mark during COVID, even from a state as close as Missouri. Be assured that once your samples arrive and testing has begun, an email notification is sent to the email address on file. If you saved the tracking number from the mailing envelope, you can see where it is yourself via the USPS tracking page. We're sorry you didn't hear back from us in a timely manner. A phone number was not provided for your case, so a manager is reaching out to you via the email address provided.

I was given a call back number to the…
I was given a call back number to the representive when I had called for information. When I called back to book my appointment they never answered nor did I get a call back. This happened several times. Also I was told that they would be able to offer me a discount. I never got the discount and it was only offered to me after I had already gotten the testing done. I don’t need another test but it would have been nice if they would have gone back and applied the discount to my original balance. Also I had signed up to get a gift card if I had participated in a study. I never received the supplies to participate in the study.
