What a mess this experience was. I spent VAST amounts of time reviewing the documents, catching errors or omissions, finding glitches in the software and generated paperwork, and informing the Customer Service folks that some of their standard forms for Texas were not up-to-date.
In theory, the idea is great. But in practice, I could’ve saved myself so much time and money just doing it on my own. It was incredibly frustrating.

Just say no... unless you're into federal fraud crimes.
As an early adopter, and former VP of Revenue specializing in GTM in the tech space, I should have known better than to use a Product Lead Sales (PLS) start-up to help me manage my divorce. But hey, I'm a smart cookie and know this stuff. It's also uncontested at the time so, why not?
I signed up for the "Platinum" pricing package because the reviews look good and I like to support my own kind ($1299.) I was fully expecting full service but instead I got stuck with the $499 software (Overpriced. It’s a template generator), a lot of terrible chats and lack of service nowhere close to “Platinum.” They think because they stacked a reply chain with lack of service, they covered their ass from an opened ping. For the laymen out there... that is when they claim you opened your email from a ping back from your email provider, not really knowing if you saw the information that is buried under the rubble of other BS, as you're trying to navigate a divorce that has now gone nuclear.
This is not any more clear than heading down to your local Clerk of the Court, grabbing the docs, and doing it pro se. Actually, that would have been 10x better at 60% less than what I paid to Divorce.com. The Clerks are great at their jobs and are way more helpful than Liz, Divorce.com, CEO.
Liz and Featheringill (The investment team) friends, operate on a skeleton crew of hopefuls who are praying they don't piss off enough early adopters to tank their B class shares. All while you are left 10 months later with them holding your USPS Money Order under the premise of filing your petition (An additional cost to the $1299 by the way.) All with zero follow-up! Did you know that possessing, altering, forging, or cashing a stolen or fraudulent money order is a federal crime under 18 U.S. Code § 500?
No? Well, I do, Liz and Featheringill. Thanks for not getting back to me. I look forward to my chat with the Postmaster General.
For you hopefuls out there, if a 7 time start-up veteran doesn’t get what they need from this circus, you won’t either. Save your $$$ and tell the Clerk I sent you.

This review contains several inaccurate statements, and we would like to clarify the facts. We returned your calls multiple times and responded in writing. The statement that there was “zero follow-up” is not accurate.
When you returned your paperwork early last year, it could not be filed because it was signed incorrectly and missing signatures. Courts reject improperly executed documents, and we notified you so the issue could be corrected. We did not hear back from you for almost a full year and after another case had been opened.
Your money order has been mailed back to you via Priority Mail. We do not hold client funds improperly, and any suggestion of criminal conduct is unfounded. We have never altered, forged, or improperly cashed any instrument.
Your characterization of our company is incorrect and misleading. We understand that divorce proceedings can be stressful and emotionally charged. However, delays resulting from document execution errors should not be characterized as misconduct by our team.
We stand behind our service and our integrity.

I highly don't recommend this company
I highly don't recommend this company , unless you are a lawyer or plan on paying for one. They offer zero help with the information needed to complete the forms. You are on your own. They advertise this as an easy process , answer some questions. not true. In my opinion, save the money , print the forms yourself, fill them out and file together and save the time

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We want to clarify that our records show a lengthy communication history on your account, including multiple interactions with our support team via chat, email, and phone calls. Our team made consistent efforts to assist with navigating the platform and answering procedural questions within the scope of the service.
Our service is designed to help users prepare forms based on their responses, but it does not replace legal advice or representation, which can be necessary for some situations. We understand that this process may feel overwhelming, and we regret that it felt more difficult than anticipated for you.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective, as it helps us continue to improve how we set expectations and support our customers.

Avoid
Couldn't book an appointment for mediation until after the return window.
Can't return after learning I'm now needing an attorney for a contested divorce.
They cannot suggest what to put in the agreement. You have to pay extra for an attorney and legal advice.
The case managers do not work with you. The case manager cannot work with the mediator.
Overall terrible experience and they do not seem willing to help.
Do not use this service, get yourself an attorney.
Response from Divorce.comJan 16, 2026
We’re sorry to hear you’re dissatisfied and appreciate you sharing your experience. Our service is designed for uncontested matters, and mediation availability is dependent on scheduling and client readiness within the return window. When a case becomes contested, we are not attorneys, which is why legal advice and drafting guidance are not included in the base service and may require additional resources.
Case managers and mediators have separate roles and are unable to provide legal advice or collaborate on strategy, which helps maintain neutrality. We regret that this wasn’t the right fit for your situation and encourage you to reach out to us with any further questions.

Did not finalize from start to finish
I only gave them a one star because they did all the paperwork right until my spouse didn't sighn the divorce summons. I spent a little over a thousand dollars & they gave me no advice how to finalize my divorce in the event that it wasn't signed. If I would have known that I would have rather payed extra for a lawyer knowing that it would have been done from start to finish.
Response from Divorce.comJan 16, 2026
We’re sorry to hear about your frustration. Our service is designed for uncontested divorces, which means we can prepare and complete the paperwork when both parties are willing to sign. If a spouse does not sign, the case becomes contested, and we are legally unable to provide advice on how to proceed or finalize the divorce without an attorney.
We appreciate your feedback and encourage anyone with concerns about eligibility or next steps to reach out so we can help explain available options based on their circumstances.

Bunch of scammers
Bunch of scammers. They will not refund the money of an 80 year old man going through a divorce of 48 years. He was confused and signed up on this loser site. We got a lawyer and my dad got confused and got roped into this scam site. He signed up for $999. Never did anything after that. His lawyers saw the charges going through his financials and questioned it immediately. Contacted site...nope no refund sorry. Have a nice day. Thanks for the free 1k as we did absolutely nothing for you. I am not done obviously. Merry Christmas to my dad struggling to pay his assisted living bill, as a 30 year military VET, because of companies like this that pray on old people! Do not do business with them.
Charles Schewe! Look ot up!
