Horrible website and interest deferment program, shows interest accrued which would be fine but when you make your payment, it shows your paying interest during the deferment as well as customer service will tell you the interest is deferred and it won't effect paying it off early. However their statements show a complete 180 from what they say on the phone. I will be contacting the BBB as I am paying them off ASAP.
Update: UNREAL not only did the company reach out to me to run around dodging the question, but referred me to the documentation I signed. Yes I signed the document that said no interest if paid off within one year. HOWEVER look at this break down of a minimum payment, if you saw this would you believe this company saying really saying no interest for 12 months as stated in the document I signed!!?
Payment 125.73
Interest reduction 71.47
Principal reduction 54.26

Select someone else - who tries to make it difficult to repay a loan - they do
I really wish I could give them a negative review. I have never had such a repeatedly bad experience in trying to pay anyone. First if you want to pay down the principal (which if you can I recommend since their finance rate is super high) you can only do it on the first. If you don't they only apply the extra payment amount to interest - that is not normal in my experience.
Secondly, If you want to pay online on the first their portal appears not to recognize you. Your passwords are always incorrect and the answers to your security questions are always wrong. This is not occasionally but every single month since the beginning of the loan. Honestly I would have refinanced this after a couple of months, except for COVID and not wanting to rock the boat financially - but now that things are more stable - it's time to get rid of this bad decision.

DIVIDEN solar is a company that cares about themselves I've had a little problem with them I have reached out I've begged for help and nobody has been able to help once you been with them 17 months they pretty much just think you're your money Symbol. I've been speaking to a lot of their representatives and really begging for help guys please read your contract because if you don't it's written on stone and they have no options for you. Unless you fall behind in your payments .I really think they should consider how bring more the customer they are very cold. They forget that people like you or me keep them in business.

The Other Shoe Dropped...
In 2018 a Dividend rep strong-armed an upstart neighborhood solar sales business into working with one, and only one company for installs. In order fornthisbdmall company to "earn" a continuing relationship with dividend, he forced them to use one of the world's least reliable installers, Luma Dynamics.
He didn't know it at the time, and neither did I, that Luma would be so sub-standard both in quality and customer service.
Within a year my roof began to leak. I contacted Luma. They attempted to repair the leaking area, and in the process the roofer discovered that each and every solar flashing had been incorrectly installed. No sealant had been used around legs, a nail gun had been used to find studs, and the job was poorly and dangerously done.
Within two weeks, Luma Dynamics had shut its doors and gone out of business. So I took the next step in the recovery process and reached out to the lender, Dividend Finance. Together with my sales company we showed them damages, worked with then for resolution. In the meantime, Dividend only ever demanded payment while delaying the process of roof repair.
They offered only to pay for the panel removal and the damages to my roof only where the solar has affected it, despite the fact that it was their mandatory installer who caused the damage. In Florida, there is a 25% rule. If the repair covers more than 25% of the area of the roof, the whole roof must be replaced, or the roof will not pass inspection and won't be deemed habitable.
That is a law I have no control over, and no ability to determine just the cost of the 40% damaged by solar.
From March until late September they delayed and delayed. They waffled back and forth about repair, send inspectors to my home and cost me time at work. Then finally refused to cover any repairs, claiming this was their original position. It isn't.
They didn't return calls when they claimed they would and take no responsibility for the contractors they force a client to use.
Don't use Dividend, use another finance company. Moreover, be sure that you understand that you can choose your installer anytime you want. Finance companies try to drive business to certain vendors for their own benefit, but you still have choices.

Every Step of the Process was PAINFUL
Every Step of the Process was PAINFUL. I am not exagerating when I say that every time I submitted something or called there had to be a follow up. I was told to submit things I already had. I was told problems were resolved and they weren't. I had no choice in working with this company because we assumed a loan. We will get out of this loan as soon as possible in order to have decent customer service. The WORST customer service I have experienced.

I’m going to be extremely honest here FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
I’m going to be extremely honest here, unlike this company.
They say they work with only the best contractors, yet a felon did the work on my brothers house. My brother never even sign a contract, the shady sales man dealt with my 81 year old father, who also never even signed nor received a contract, this is because it goes to your email account, but my dad doesn’t have a email account, but wait the nice felon says don’t work it just a technicality and makes a email up
For my dad, tells him he won’t receive any more FPL bills and will only pay 80 something dollars a month, three months later I find out he was getting FPL bills, the contractor had FPL send him paperless bills to a email account that doesn’t exist. I did have my brother file a police report as the company asked, keep in mind my brother is a merchant marine and away at sea a lot, but he did file when he came home. Next thing we get is a collection notice, so I sent certified mail a request for validation of this debt, heard nothing! Now I find out while my brother wants to sell his home they have a UCC on his property, which is fraud because they dealt with my father not my brother. And my brother owns the house! You can’t be a good company if you don’t do background checks on contractors that you allow to use your company. This is not over yet, I’ve spoken to a few people and I will have my brother sue if this doesn’t get resolved ASAP

Don't recommend
Set me up on automatic payments with no way to cancel without reaching out. So I did. They ended up double drafting my payment which over-drafted my checking account. I was assured it would be applied to the following month and that they would cancel my autopay. I then receive a call that my autopay was not actually canceled and they drafted a second payment again which also over-drafted my checking account. I have now been assured the second payment is going to be applied to the next month and the autopay is stopped.... obviously, my faith in that is next to 0.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!
WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!! We got solar a few months ago not expecting to sell our house. We have not been able to sell our home because Dividen Finance (who nerdpower uses) has declined two of our buyers wanting to take the solar over (buyer has a 778 credit score). Would never use them again and if you’re planning on selling a home in the near future DO NOT DO IT. Now we’re unable to build our home since they have denied every buyer that is preapproved for a 300k home.
Response from Dividend FinanceOct 31, 2019
Hi Megan, First off, thank you for your taking the time to provide us feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience and understand how this situation could be frustrating. Loan assumptions can be tricky, as we require the same criteria to underwrite new customers as we did for you initially. There are a lot of factors we take into consideration during this process and we make our decisions on more than just the applicants credit score, as we have discussed previously. Often, when this is the circumstance, the value of the electricity produced over the life of the system is added to the home value, and the system is paid off with the home sale. Someone from the Dividend Team will be contact shortly to discuss this with you further . Thank you.
