I ordered a very expensive couture Marches gown from District 5 because my size was in STOCK. After inquiring about a few things I was assured that it was in stock and I ordered and paid in full for my dress! Within two weeks I hadn’t heard anything and contacted them through What’s App where after a few days I was told it was sold before I paid for it, even though many days after I paid my order was confirmed. Dealing with Febe and Marga and they have strung me along for almost 4 months now because they put it into Pre order assured mei would have the own in 8-10 weeks. Every week I keep asking them since week 10 and they can never give a completion date. As of yesterday, they are ghosting me after I asked if they were in bankruptcy!! NEVER EVER USE THEM!! THEY ARE HUGE SCAM ARTISTS and I will be reporting them to the authorities, Marchesa and my credit card company!!! So heartbreaking! This dress was for my daughters wedding😢

TOTAL SCAM! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS JOKE OF A PLACE!!! Prior to ordering I confirmed via a phone call with “Febe” that a particular dress was available and I could have it shipped “two day rush” and as of today I still do not have the dress! It’s been over a month…..I have documented communication everyday with Marga, online customer service, Febe, etc…assuring me the dress will arrive soon. Obviously that is not happening! What a disappointment District 5 Boutique has been, they should not call themselves a luxury brand as I’ve never been treated this way by any other high end label or store! Lesson learned, and I’ll be following up with multiple reviews and contacting all necessary parties to document my experience! I have been told by competitors to make the actual designers represented on their site aware of how District 5 has handled this in hopes that they will cease any business with them. I wouldn’t order ANYTHING from this place, as there are far too many reputable places that carry these brands!

DO NOT buy anything from this company! They are the biggest scammers ever. I have been waiting for a refund for 4 months! They only communicate on whats app and only give you the runaround when you try getting what is rightfully yours. Biggest SCAM!

My daughter ordered a dress from District 5 for a very special occasion last November. She never got the dress, nor a refund. She is still waiting for “store credit”. This company appears to have filed for bankruptcy, but seems to continue to engage in deceptive and unethical business practices. You can look up all their creditors online. DO NOT use this company! I will be encouraging my daughter to file a report with the Attorney General of New Jersey.

I ordered a dress that I a few days later requested a refund on April 27 2025. Every day I messaged them regarding my refund. Initially they stated 5 to 7 business days. That timeline came and went. It is now July 16 2025 and I continue to wait for my refund which they claim has been refunded. I contacted my bank and they assured me that no refund has been issued to my account. This refund was $2200 USD. Due to my refund not being received I am no longer able to travel to my daughter’s wedding. This has been an emotional experience. I learned that they are going through a bankruptcy. But it is fraud to be taking customers money when there is no intention of fulfilling their purchase or refunding. This is pathetic. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I ordered a mother of the bride dress October 15, 2024 order # 24713. Told it would take several weeks for my Jenny Packman Bright Gem gown to come in. Followed up regularly. April 2025 they tell me they can't order the dress and to pick something from their instore dresses. Requested refund and as of today, still no refund.

BUYERS BEWARE! I ordered a $15,000 Georges Hobeika dress for a very special occasion. I was reassured that the dress would arrive prior to my event. I even paid an $750 expedite fee to ensure this. You can only use WhatsApp to communicate with customer service, which is frustrating in itself, however the good news is I have ALL the communication saved now as proof. I was in contact with a customer service rep almost everyday who reassured me that my order was right on track. Well, fast forward 4 weeks, now 5 DAYS before my event and my dress still did not arrive, they still did not provide any tracking or any information on arrival date. I was so frustrated that I reached out to the Hobeika's headquarters in Beirut to try and get some information about my dress since District 5 would not tell me anything. The Hobeika rep told me that not only did District 5 never pay them to process the order but even if they did, it takes a minimum of 40 DAYS to produce this dress! So I was doomed from the beginning and District 5 led me on for 4+ weeks. So, 5 days before my event, I had NO dress and was left in a very compromising position. What's worse is, they didn't even care! There was no attempt to help by sending me another comparable dress, offer any sort of compensation, or try to make the situation better. I was met with a fake apology that "we are very sorry you didn't get the outcome you had hoped for." Really? Outcome I had hoped for? How about District 5 FAILED to do their job and caused an innocent customer extreme stress and anxiety. They thought giving me a refund for a dress I never received was enough to make up for their unprofessionalism and scamming ways. The rep at Hobeika told me that they have MANY clients that have gone through the same thing with them and to order from them directly next time. Save yourself the stress and DO NOT shop here. I went through hell with ZERO care or help from customer service! Even the owner didn't respond back to me! HORRIBLE!

I ordered dress from them for my son wedding for more than a month until now I don’t get it and they keep lying about delivery times which was June 14 but I don’t get it until today .I just found out they didn’t even place any order for my dress with the designer.
