Offering high quality 3 - 6 day cruises with a maximum of 12 guests on the historic Discovery in beautiful Prince William Sound, Alaska (just south of the largest Alaskan city, Anchorage). We do offer a handful of trips that incorporate Denali National Park as well. Prince William Sound encompasses 3,800 miles of coastline to explore via kayak and foot. The Sound is home to the densest concentration of tidewater glaciers in the world, containing 50 glaciers and 17 tidewater glaciers (touching the ocean), known for dramatically calving huge ice chunks into the sea. Enjoy spectacular views from sea level up to 13,000 ft mountain peaks. More than 220 species of birds (and around 200,000 seabirds summer in the Sound), along with 30 species of land mammals, and at least a dozen marine mammal species make this area quite special. Resident marine mammals include humpback, sei, fin, minke, killer whales, and dall's porpoise as well as Steller sea lions, harbor seals, and sea otters. In western Prince William Sound, black bears may be seen on narrow beaches and are most often seen fishing when the salmon are spawning.

Captain, Crew, Chef & itinerary were all perfect!
This was such an amazing trip! An experience that I will treasure and vividly remember forever. Kayaking, hiking, wildlife and gourmet food, oh my!

The entire crew was AMAZING!!!
The entire crew was AMAZING!!!! So knowledgeable and able to translate that knowledge in easily accessible pieces. We had the best time learning and experiencing the Prince William Sound with the crew of Discovery Voyages. Also, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!!!

Amazing adventure
Amazing adventure, beautiful boat, chef-level meals, and wonderful crew. Scenery, wildlife, kayaking, hiking - literally memories of a lifetime for me and my family and good friends.

The staff of Discovery Voyages treats your specific trip as the most special and wonderful in the world. The 4 people on the staff act in well oiled unison to support the best experience for every passenger. The Captain Dean Rand takes you to see everything including glaciers, wildlife, flowers and waterfalls. The Captain customizes each trip according to current weather conditions and time of year. All of the staff are knowledgeable about the history and beauty to be found on Prince William Sound. All meals are prepared with LOVE and are wholesome and delicious.

Truly wonderful. The only way to see Alaska!
Everything was perfect. Great crew. Knowledgeable guide. Amazing food. Saw lots of wildlife and nature up close. The other passengers were pleasant to share the experience with. Highly recommend!!
