Received a defective item and contacted Discount AC Parts immediately. They offered a free replacement, however they did not pay for shipping the defective item back to them because I'm in Canada. I will also have to pay the customs duties and UPS brokerage fee, again. So, I have to pay extra $76 for the seller's mistake. That said, the customer service was responsive and friendly. Update after receiving the replacement: Don't know why, but it turned out that I only had to pay for shipping the defective item back, but not the customs related expenses.

The ac parts seem good, the expansion valve block was not machined right so I couldn't use my pressure switch and had to jump it. Well see how the parts hold up.

I left my street address number off the order and the software didn't recognize it. Upgrade software to recognize when information is missing. UPS would not make the adjustment when contacted.

Ordered a full AC kit back in December - it arrived in a decent amount of time, and seemed complete. I managed to work a temp fix on the old compressor, which allowed me to put off installing the new kit until warmer weather arrived. The warmer weather arrived 2 weeks ago - middle of June. Installed most everything in the kit, and it went well until... The new compressor had a different electrical connector than the old one. I phoned company to see what they could do. It boiled down to me returning the new compressor for a refund, and keeping the rest of the kit - if I wanted. I elected to splice in the old connector onto the new compressor, and thereby void any warranty. So far everything seems to be working properly - no leaks, no issues, and cold air. We'll see if it lasts a few years. I was hoping they would've taken better care of a situation that their mistake caused. If I have to do this again someday, I think I'll choose a different company to purchase from.
