Scam
First off, a lot of the *sparkling* reviews here for Direct Textbook are obvious padding. I registered for my account today with the promise of 10% cashback. I should know better than to blindly sign-up for accounts without checking Trust Pilot. Even though my browser automatically saved the password I setup at account creation, my password is suddenly "incorrect." Any and all attempts to recover my password produce no emails in my inbox to reset my password. I also cannot create a new account again using my email. I should have just let my course work be paid through my college and I wouldn't be out of the money, personally. What is most likely is that the owner of the website is being paid sponsored money when we click on the links for "10% cash back." We never see any money but Direct Textbook does.
