We used this company for a move two states away and had a good experience overall. Their pricing was competitive compared to other quotes we received, which was one of the reasons we chose them. The movers were on time, handled our furniture carefully, and everything arrived without any damage. Alex was easy to reach whenever we had questions, and communication was consistent throughout the move. Everything went as planned, with no unexpected issues or delays. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company at a reasonable price

I had a horrible, nightmarish experience with Direct Moving Group and their CSR Alex. He quoted us $1900 to move 6 large pieces, 3 tvs, 2 speakers 4 chairs, a table and 50 boxes from SC to FL. Seemed like a fair price. When the movers arrived, they said they only could do the 6 large pieces, and needed hundreds more dollars to move the rest! No tvs, speakers, chairs, no boxes. Only 6 pieces for $1900!! When I spoke to Alex he only made excuses like "it's a much bigger king bed than normal" (really??}. Alex grossly underestimated the amount of our things that our $1900 would pay for, and refused to take responsibility for his error. When I told him that he had deceived us, he hung up on me! Great customer service!! We had to rent a uhaul and hire movers for an additional $1700 because Alex misled us. I called him after the fact asking for a 50% refund, because they only moved 6 of the 66 items were promised. He said he would ask his superior and get back to me. He didn't. 3 weeks later, I called him back and he told me because it was a "small move" they would not refund me anything at all. Not a penny. I'm sorry but $1900 is not a small move to me! This was a classic bait and switch experience. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your moving company needs.

All I wanted was a ballpark quote - what I got was 97 phone calls multiple times a day, unwanted text messages, and a pile of emails - all with no idea how much my move is going to cost. When it comes time to move, I’m choosing someone else. Re: your response. No, it wasn’t anyone else. I requested a quote from you and got BLASTED with phone calls, emails, and text messages. Maybe you should rethink harassing potential customers before writing idiotic nonsense like that.

I had a great experience working with Direct Moving Group from start to finish. The entire team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. I especially want to recognize Alex, who was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions, kept me informed, and made sure everything was handled smoothly. It's not often that you find someone who genuinely cares about customer service, and Alex definitely went above and beyond. The moving crew was courteous, worked hard, and treated our belongings with care. Moving can be stressful, but their communication and professionalism made the experience much easier. I appreciate the effort of everyone involved and would definitely recommend Direct Moving Group to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

Last week I used this company and I’d give this moving company . Overall, the experience was very good. The team was punctual, respectful, and came well prepared for the move. They loaded everything quickly and made sure the furniture and boxes were secured properly for the trip. I recommend this company.

Direct Moving group did a phenomenal job on my move. They showed up on time and protected all my furniture. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Keep up the good work guys.

If I could, I would leave zero stars. Despite initial positive interactions, when it came down to the move, they lost half of my carboard boxes. They failed to take a proper inventory on pickup and did not show me the inventory sheet. Over a dozen boxes and large items were not delivered to my final location. Getting any kind of update since has been terrible with no support or answers about where my items could be.
