Very good app so far
Very good app so far. A bit tricky to get up and running and get it doing what you want it to do (I had to reach out to support to figure some things out, although they were very helpful and responsive; I think I also had to uninstall and reinstall at one point early on), but works well once you get to that point. I like the different options that you have to choose from in order to restrict things (code, cooldown, friend, money, or schedule) - the flexibility to set up which one you think will work best for you is really handy. The one thing I would change here would be some longer cooldown options (2 hours is currently the maximum). The flexibility to create different categories to block, using preset categories, websites, or even keywords, is great. Years ago I used K9 Web Protection, which allegedly had keyword blocking, but it typically didn't work. DigitalZen's keyword blocking is 100% effective as far as I can tell. Another useful thing is that you can add websites/keywords/etc. to a block category without unlocking it (but can't remove them without unlocking), which is well thought out. And it works on Linux unlike all of the other similar apps.
