Unacceptable Service – Charged to Fix Their Own Mistake
I had a very disappointing experience with Diamonds International regarding a bracelet adjustment. From the beginning, the bracelet was not sized correctly. I was explicitly told that extra length had been added “in case I gained weight,” which was both inappropriate and not something I requested. The result was a bracelet that never fit properly. Although I did not follow up immediately, that does not change the fact that the initial service was done incorrectly. When I eventually reached out to have it corrected, I was told I would need to pay an additional fee. After escalating the issue, management reduced the charge from $70 to $50—but I was still required to pay to fix a problem that originated from their own judgment during the initial adjustment. What’s most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability. At no point did the company take responsibility for the original error. Considering how much I have already spent with Diamonds International, I found this response unacceptable. I did not feel valued as a customer, and the unwillingness to fully resolve the issue reflects poorly on their customer service standards. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression. I would not feel confident purchasing from this company again.
