The service went into politics, a message began to be shown to me, a registered user: you are from an objectionable country. It's sad that good services ruin their reputation with political influences. Why does the service think that if I am Russian, I should not use it, this is racism and fascism. terrible

Finally went premium on a 30 day test…
Finally went premium on a 30 day test drive just to see if the app improved or the interface lag. Nope, still cannot download for off WiFi listening like you can with almost every other platforms. The horrible lag time when selecting your choosen artist or podcast such as Universal Nation by Alex MORPH are still present, you click the listing and nothing happens, you click again thinking it hasn't registered my click, nothing happens again and again a few more times before eventually something happens, then more app lag as it loads the many other shows for this podcast artist, it's like the DB server needs optimization or more CPU/RAM allocation....still no option to fast forward thru tracks, when you come out and go back in again it feels like it has never seen you before and started from the beginning. Spotify has these points down to a tee....I want the platform to remember where I was in the same podcast. I want to be able to download, I want no application lag. Will be ending my premium trial once this over. Shame as I love Future sound of Egypt and Alex Morph, they need to jump ship to Spotify ASAP or lose listeners unless this app improves.

From awesome to horrible
Has become horrible in the past it was awesome, I was always listening to hardcore uk, but when it changes all the liveshows are gone, no mix, between every tune there is a silence it's so annoying, i was a premium member but in cancel it when it all changed all it's not worth anymore, i even stop listen to di.fm
Today I became again a member, still you have the quiet between tune, no mixes so far, there was just a hardcore show after i lost my connection the hardcore show was gone and again tune with silence horrible I think about to channel my membership again, the hotcore Bay show somehow disappeared
Why destroy something good to make it bad I don't understand that
In the past di.fm was really awesome but now it's gone to the worst there is, even not one star
If that change I will remove this review but for now it is as it is

great music - obnoxious ads
Love the music but the ads are extra annoying - every 5-10 minutes (not 20, thank you) and always the same highly annoying ones over and over again. I get it, the aim is to get listeners to go Premium but you won't get that by killing them by making sure the ads are extra obnoxious. I've had my share for a while...agh

Hello! Thank you for your feedback.
We're sorry about your dissatisfaction with the ads. Unfortunately, we do not have any influence over them.
We can suggest you to try our Premium service with ad-free content along with many other great features we offer. The ads should be played every 20 min approximately, so I would kindly ask you to contact us directly at [email protected] so we can investigate the issue you're experiencing. Thank you!

Hello! Revenue that we make from advertising allows us to pay royalties to the artists and cover for the cost of streaming for all our free users.
Your other option to ensure a great listening experience without ads is to subscribe to our Premium service and enjoy ad-free content along with many other great features we offer. We have a month of the free Trial period if you want to test it.
Also, our service does not play ads every 5 minutes. It is usually after 20 minutes of streaming on average.
Cheers!

Too many annoying and repetitive ads.

Hello!
We believe in free access to music, but also a fair music industry where artists and others are paid for their work and services.
Revenue that we make from advertising allows us to pay royalties to the artists, so if you are listening for free you will need to allow ads to cover the costs of your listening.
Your other option to ensure a great listening experience without ads is to pay for our Premium service, which also allows us to pay the artists for their work.
As a Premium member, you get access to the complete DigitallyImported streaming network, with over 200 additional channels of excellent curated music with the same account. We invite you to check them out:

I already disabled all Adblocks etc
I already disabled all Adblocks etc. but still in every Browser di fm advised me to disable the Adblock. I like to notice that i was 2 years a Premium Member, its like Radio, if you listen every day you will hear repeated songs etc, DI FM uses some Mixes/shows from other djs which is nothing special, why i said that, if you hunt after the dj/show you will see that you get those for free on their websides or soundcloud and so on. and the stream list is full of such shows.
We have 2020, i watched now this side over 3 years, its time to move on because di fm behaves not customer friendly and anyoing me all time to disable my adblock even if it is disabled.
You better save your money !!!

binding, non-refundable service, but they won't tell you that
Note: i have been an user of DI.fm for more than 6 years. Music offer is great, but one would be mistaken to think that Mikey from the used-car dealership runs the billing department. Here is why:
DI.fm premium is a binding, non-refundable service, but they won't tell you that upfront. Neither when signing up for premium, nor in the receipt. They have no refund policy, so if you pay for 2 years, you are stuck with it for the whole period.
In the receipt, DI.fm misleads you by claiming that you can manage your subscription anytime. They will not tell you that any billing changes will be effective from the next billing period onwards. So basically you can't change anything, really. But you can manage it, whatever that means.
Most subscriptions everywhere, including all reputable streaming services (netflix, amazon, itunes, etc), do have a refund policy, where you usually have a notice period of running month + 1 month or something like this. Understandable, since this is a non-perishable service (ie whether you are subscribed or not does not affect the offer nor value of the service, like, say, streaming a live event)
Note that the complaint is about not telling users in advance that this is a binding, non-refundable service. Worse, misleading their users by saying that they can "manage" the subscription, which they can't --not until next bill.
That's how Mikey from the used-car dealership would do. With a smirk.

Hi there,
First of all, we want to thank you for supporting us for so long for your feedback. We will be more than happy to provide any assistance we can.
While your concerns about our binding contract are somewhat valid, we would have definitely done a pro-rated refund if you contacted our support team for it in the first 3 months after the purchase was made.
Unfortunately, after the 3 months period has passed, the card processor does not allow us to undo these charges so we are unable to offer you a pro-rated refund at the moment.
Furthermore, all our billing terms are final and stated as such upfront, and on top of that, the prices have already been discounted in favor of longer terms.
Our customers are able to choose monthly terms instead, from the start, in order to be able to cancel and leave in any time and not commit to the service over a longer period.
Keep in mind that refund policies of most of the companies you mentioned should be pretty similar to ours, these services work on auto-renewal as well, and are usually based on a monthly, annual and biannual commitment.
Please let me know if there's anything else we can help you with!
Regards
