Excellent Marketplace for designer & customer. Loved it!
I sign up as designer on design contest 2 years ago & from then this is the best place I've ever working as freelance designer. Payment & other opportunities are great here. I won many contest & got some wonderful clients through one-on-one project. Love to be a part of DC. Admin & moderator are so helpful, whenever any trouble arrives they've solve it quickly. Recommend Design contest to everyone. :) :)

Great Place To Work Through
I've done work through them on numerous occasions, I've always had a great experience. Extremely smooth process, no hidden gotcha's to look out for, rates are as advertised, no surprise commissions or hidden fees(other sites are notorious for this). If you do good work it pays. Clients are great and the one time I did have a problem the site administrators were quick to step in and resolve it. You couldn't ask for a better place to either find people to do design work or to be the designer doing the work. A true community. Highly recommended.

Why on earth would you share a personal…
Why on earth would you share a personal conversation I had with one of your moderators on my personal messenger on social media? Did I give you permission to do so? No. I did not. Just like I said, your company is very unprofessional and its the same exact thing you did to the man that was unhappy with your service. You put him on blast and belittled him and again in your response to me. I'm glad you did repeat my conversation though because it shows how incredibly petty and ridiculous you are behaving. So I was blocked from sending your company messages on Facebook because I said 'Goodbye'???? You actually admitted to everyone on here that you did that to a member of your community. Because I said 'Goodbye'. WOW. What is your policy on that as well??? As far as 'taking your advice', I most certainly did go to the Designers Court and post my design and how my design was copied by another person. You should double check your info before posting false information about anyone. The response from the mediator was about 10 words. It was very vague about how my design was not copied. No explanation, nothing. What is your policy and criteria when deciding if someone has stolen another designers work? I re-posted my work next to the person that copied mine and also gave the mediator SEVERAL reasons how it was exactly the same as mine. The 2nd moderator was extremely rude! This is how the moderator that responded to my post started his comment, "Hi! You don't need to post this 3 times. We heard your message." Thats how you train your employees to talk to members? They need remedial training. I was not familiar with your process. That is why it was posted more than once. Again, I would like to know the policy and criteria that decides how a decision like that is made...as well as your policy on why you would block someone from sending you messages on Facebook. You mentioned that I said I was banned from the website. I NEVER said that in my response. Another false accusation. Stop Now. You are lying on social media about me. I am asking you to STOP doing that from this point on. I believe doing that is a crime. You seem to be making decisions on emotion. And I'll bet you respond AGAIN to make some sort of stand to try and not appear rude and unprofessional. Too late. You need to be giving yourself 'infraction' points. I've never seen anything like this from a company before. Your website is perfect for you and customers. Customers pay next to nothing and get to pick from several hundred designs. You charge these customers and make money off them and the designers get nothing. Designers! Don't do it unless you like to work for free. There are too many entries for each contest. Odds are not in your favor. Don't let these rude people on designcontest make money off of your designs! You are worth more than that and deserve to be compensated!

HI there, The previous report did not mention anything of a personal message. what was said "We are sorry you feel the response was rude in the FB messages. This has been reviewed and there was not one time the person replied in a rude manor to you. You were asked to go to designers court several times and it was pointed out that FB is not the place for issues about reported entries, that is what designers court is for. You were the one that with the lat words said "good bye" only at that time your username was blocked. You chose to leave. You chose not to go to designers court. You were given a solution, it was your choice to not follow up with that. Plus you are NOT banned on the website, you can still go to designers court and express your opinion" no where does it say you were banned from the website.
You were asked to go to The contest forums several times in a very polite manner 4 times. There was nothing rude at all. You were asked very politely... "please go to the forums and post about this reported entry" nothing was posted of a negative manner to you or about you. You said "goodbye" you were angry that the design was told to you it was not copied. that angered you and then there was some chastising from you in the message. Still the moderator was polite and never rude to you. We NEVER said you were banned and NEVER said you said you were banned. In fact we told you " you are NOT banned " and can go to the forums an post your issue so it could be discussed further ( we explained that facebook messages is not the place to discuss reported entries). You did go to the forums a little later and we thank you for doing so. Another moderator that works website and flyer type reports answered and told you it was not copied. The reason to be blocked on FB is not for you it is for anyone leaving in an angry way, Angry people can write things that don't normally say or write so it protects the user as well as the business form such instances. if the user is not angry anymore and want unblocked they are unblocked, very simple and it saves a lot of face for users.
Good luck in your design business

We needed to refresh our company's logo…
We needed to refresh our company's logo and after evaluating a few contest platforms and agencies, we landed on DesignContest. Starting a contest was really easy and within 24 hours we had 50+ design concepts to choose from. I would highly recommend this platform for any startup or existing small business. We are thinking about a t shirt design in 2020...so I will likely be back to start another contest. Thank you so much!

Design Contest worst ever.
As a freelance designer I have been posting designs to this worst ever site and what they do is to remove your designs when you receive high ratings.
Your rules are not clear when designers have subscription to third parties stock imagery to be used on designs and a bad language manners you guys have replied to my personal email. BAD COMPANY.
Response from DesignContestSep 3, 2019
Hi there, Your registered email was replied to because you sent in a helpdesk ticket, how do we reply to your help ticket without emailing you? The only bad language came from you not designcontest.
All you had to do was go to chat with mods in the forums or designers court and discuss the issue, instead you sent in email with bad language and posted this bad review because you submitted a design that was removed for a violation, We have many many ways you can contact us, we have live chat, helpdesk, the forums
Instead of writing this false review why don't you submit the design again without the copyrighted art or better yet create your own work so this will not happen again ?
Your ticket reads title of ticket " Infraction Bullshit"
"An infraction has been applied to my design on a contest and I find
that BULLSHIT from moderator.
This was the reason given: Copied design! Also you can not use premade
designs.
I want proof of that....
RAIDA Conceptualization
Worst design contest site ever...
……..
Our rules and guidelines are VERY clear. It is YOUR responsibility to check all the ELUA on any design you did not create yourself. As I said in my reply to you, we follow the law, The client can't copyright the design you submitted because the ELUA doesn't allow for that usage.
1. if design is clipart
2. design has been copied or stolen
3. If designer has been removed form site for serious violations such as stolen logo
4. in your case ( we have found your account) Copied design! Also you can not use premade designs. https://www.designcontest.com/infographic-design/raida-conceptualization/entry/10/; https://www.designcontest.com/infographic-design/raida-conceptualization/entry/9/; https://as2.ftcdn.net/jpg/01/79/70/
You are the one not following the rules and guidelines. Contestholder CAN NOT copyright art you did not create. You legally cant sign over rights to use artwork you did NOT create. We have rules and guidelines for a reason and we do not play favorites, the same rules and guidelines apply to ALL desingers
The contestholder is the person in charge of their contest. The contestholder can choose to remove your entries if they are not what they want or like, designcontest.com does not do this.
Thank you

"OMG, this thing really works" :)
In my country, these crowdsourcing platforms weren't that popular. So I was curious to try and my first win was something like "OMG, this thing really works". :) I'm here for more than 5 years and even if I have accounts on other platforms also this it's my favorite place to work. I grew as a designer, met wonderful people, had challenging projects so I couldn't be more happy and grateful for everything. Thank you, DC for being there! :)

Service so great we became an affiliate
A few of our real estate agent clients have used DesignContest.com in the past, with very positive results. When I reached out to them to discuss becoming an affiliate partner, Sharie responded promptly with more information than I even requested, and a step by step guide for our clients. Excellent service all the way around.
