The company directed me to dental service which charged me 150 euro for doing absolutely nothing.

English and Spanish versions: ENGLISH: Avoid these guys. I paid a lot of money for x-rays when this outfit referred me to Oral Centre in Seville, Spain. I never saw the X-RAYS and I never received them. I do not believe I even saw a real dentist. There was a very slick guy running around trying to get me to pay for additional 'treatments' but Dental Departures has no control over the competence or honesty of the companies they recommend. SPANISH: Eviten a esta gente. Pagué mucho dinero por radiografías cuando me recomendaron el Centro Oral de Sevilla, España. Nunca vi las radiografías ni las recibí. Ni siquiera creo que me viera un dentista de verdad. Había un tipo muy astuto intentando que pagara por "tratamientos" adicionales, pero Dental Departures no tiene ningún control sobre la competencia ni la honestidad de las empresas que recomienda.

The Dental team who performed my surgery were excellent. This review by no means reflects their great work which is 5 star. Dental departures on the other hand well..... After locking me in and me paying for the treatment I was dropped so quickly. I received no contact for 2 months until the surgery was done and I was back in a Australia. I cancelled my support person as the support I was promised, information and assistance in task management after my operation was never forthcoming. No on even contacted me o. The say I arrived. Nothing. Then when I complained they tried to use it against me telling me the "boss" called me on the day of one of my surgeries. Which I missed and no voice message was left. So not important from unknown number. Really shit support from a company only interested in lining their own pockets. Don't use them. Just as easy to deal with the dentist. I did after I had the argument about being mis-informed of price by $10,000 AUD Over original. Would I use Dental departures again? Never. I will deal any follow up straight through the dentist. A waste of time paying someone to do nothing or give you incorrect information or just outwardly lie to you. Not a place of integrity or any honour or pride. Dental Departures.

A complete con as feared. Asked three times the price before arrival, this wa s£418. Soon as completed £500 bill. They promised scale and polish also and didn’t receive any of this. Stay clear

Booked an appointment via this agency. I got a very useless overpriced treatment and afterwards no help. Would not recommend!!! PS I wrote a message to this number they have me here and never got an answer

If there was a way to put a -5 grade that would still be high for them. STAY AWAY they are a scam. Besides the do not pay their employees. A 5 year old kid would make a better job than them RUN RUN RUN

Avoid this company along with Freer Dental and any other clinic they recommend. They are a scam company, placing with clinics that mess up your implants. Leave out screws, refuse to respond after doing their shoddy work. In fact avoid the country. They know they can mess up your teeth provide terrible work, resulting in tons of problems of which they will ignore, refuse response and you will spend 1000's upon arrival home repairing the damage they have done. They operate with shady dental clinics, and were they to be in the US they would be sued many times over. Avoid Avoid Avoid and I am happy to provide proof and correspondence and lack thereof with this terrible organization and the clinics that they use. Media will hear of this company as they have been scamming people and risking people's dental health for far too long. Regardless of what they try to type or respond to, do you due diligence and you will find that many of their reviews are fake, they pay to have them removed as is the case with most dental clinics in Costa Rica, and they will Lie Lie Lie of which I have once again proof. I am very happy to supply absolute proof of the damage done to my teeth, implants, correspondence with this Dental departure and any other information you need so that you may also avoid this company and any of the Clinics they "work" with. They will ignore you, say you have a warranty and then refuse to response. Complaints go unheard, shady characters work at this Dental Departures Group as shown by their terrible reviews not only here but on Reddit, Face Book and others. They along with their shady Clinics and Dental organizations pay to have them removed.

I had a deeply disappointing and troubling experience with a surgeon I found through Dental Departures/Medical Departures. The platform presents itself as a trusted resource for finding qualified, vetted professionals abroad. However, my experience suggests their vetting process is extremely limited or nonexistent. The doctor I selected from their recommendations committed what I believe to be malpractice. The outcome of the procedure was not what I asked for and far below acceptable medical standards. He even used an antiquated surgical technique. This has caused me significant distress and I will require future corrective surgery. When I reached out to Dental Departures/ Medical Departures to raise my concerns, I received no meaningful response or assistance. There was no effort to investigate the issue, and they referred me to the wrong governing agency to file a complaint against the doctor. They claim to offer peace of mind to international patients, but in my case, they failed to ensure the basic safety or credibility of the provider they promoted. They appear to act purely as a booking intermediary, without taking any responsibility for the quality of care delivered by the clinics listed on their site. I strongly advise anyone considering using this platform to proceed with extreme caution. Do your own thorough research-don't assume that because a clinic is listed on DentalDepartures, it has been properly vetted or monitored.
