My experience with Delta Shipping LLC was extremely frustrating. Gary Allan was my main point of contact throughout the process. I contacted the company regarding vehicle shipping from Hilo, Hawaii to New Jersey and clearly explained multiple times that I needed the paperwork, BOL, and port procedures completed within the same week because I was flying out of Hawaii on Saturday. Before payment, Gary repeatedly stated that they had personnel available at Hilo port and that everything could be coordinated quickly if I acted fast. Based on those assurances, I proceeded with the booking and advance payment. However, after payment, it became clear that the timeline discussed beforehand could not be met. I also had to request corrections because the shipping destination information initially showed California instead of New Jersey. When I requested a refund due to the inability to complete the process within the promised timeframe, communication became poor and unresponsive. My advice to others is to be cautious before sending advance payments. Ensure that timelines, paperwork requirements, refund policies, and port coordination are confirmed clearly in writing beforehand. This review reflects my personal experience.

Do not trust Delta. It is the classic bait and switch. Not just Delta but many other brokers. They will quote you a price, take your deposit and then jack up the price. What a racket.

Seems to be a broker. Price is too low to be real. And when given a private zelle link to pay I figured I should find another. Also checked Google maps for the address, there no such company in the area. Requested the guy to send me pictures got somewhere else's pictures. Don't trust that one.

Avoid this company at all costs. I was quoted $599 and given a clear verbal guarantee on timing, which is the only reason I booked. That guarantee meant nothing—my pickup date came and went with no driver, no update, and no communication whatsoever. After that, it turned into a complete nightmare. • Calls go unanswered • When you do get someone, you’re fed conflicting information • Timelines constantly change with zero accountability • No one seems to have any idea what’s going on Customer service is terrible. I had to repeatedly chase them down just to get basic updates, and even then I couldn’t get a straight answer. It honestly feels like they’ll say whatever they need to get you booked and then disappear when it’s time to deliver. I eventually requested a refund because they failed to meet what was promised, and instead of resolving it, they continued to waste my time. 3 days of wasted time and no driver was ever confirmed. Unreliable joke of a company. Do yourself a favor and go with literally anyone else. *update: they never refund money and ghosted me*

This is a Bait and Switch scam run by a single person. He says his name is Finn but it's probably also a lie. Gave me a quote for 500 dollars and asked for 150 down. The day before shipping I had received no info on the truck or driver. When I called him he gave shady excuses about driver delayed, market conditions and tried to offer me the same service at $1200 and then silence. I had to drive the car myself and incurred almost 1000 in costs and he won't refund the $150. Scam!

In January 2026, I made an agreement with Finn at Delta Shipping to ship a travel trailer from TX to CA, for $995, with an initial deposit of $250. I shipped a vehicle across the country a couple years ago so I was expecting the final price to end up being a little more, as I understand the brokers don't have full control over the rate. Even as the morning of the agreed pickup came Finn told me he had a driver lined up at our agreed on price. The pickup day came and went with no pickup happening, and a few days later Finn told me the new rate was $3750. A jump this great seems unethical. Either the estimate was so low that it was done by someone without any grasp on the reality of industry, or I felt I was trying to be scammed. I told him this jump in price was too much and I wanted to cancel. He said there was no way he could find a driver for less then $3000, and even that he would pay himself if I could. I canceled with them and within 2 days had it picked up for $1700. I explained the situation to Delta Shipping and asked for a refund on the deposit. After a lot of back and forth they agreed on a partial refund, then they ghosted me after zero refund was given. I would not recommend this company.

Do NOT use Delta Shipping!!! I contracted with them to transport two project vehicles from Idaho to Pennsylvania. Finn Smith, my account manager, gave me a good price and two-week delivery window, so I sent them a $300 deposit. Five weeks later, my cars have not arrived, Mr Smith has been fired for improper behavior, and they want an additional $3,000 to deliver my vehicles. I'm still trying to get my deposit back. Be warned...these guys are scammers. As of March 13, Delta has still not returned my $300 deposit. They talk a lot about customer service but don't deliver. They agreed to return my money but it never showed up.

Horrible. Bait and switch from the very beginning. Finn Smith (which is an alias for Safdar Husain Jafar) immediately claimed non-receipt of funds. Once payment was cleared, I was ghosted! When I questioned the shipment, I was told three days in a row of a pick up which never happened. Multiple excuses. After three days, they tried to raise the rate by $400. I am contacting local authorities to press charges for fraud and wire fraud. I will have to move in Small Claims Court to recoup funds. Now they claim I cancelled the order so they won’t have to refund my payment. Do not use this company !
