Promises not kept
I would give 0 stars if I could. I am beyond furious over how this company operates. We are a small family owned logging business and went to them 3 months ago looking for a term loan to consolidate multiple loans we had to take due to bad weather shutdowns, expensive recent breakdowns and the massive increase in operating costs due to increased fuel prices. I gave them 2 1/2 years of financial info, Personal and business. We have been in business 25 years and just desperately needed some breathing room with our payments. We were told we were approved for a total of $200K, just needed to do a small loan with one of their loan partners for 30-60 days to establish a relationship. We did not want to do this but were told it was phase one and phase two was approved and already guaranteed by the underwriter (who he was supposedly on the phone with while we were talking). We did everything they requested, but when it came time for the big consolidation loan and I sent over all of our payoff letters on a Friday and told we would be funded on Monday, nothing happened. When I reached out, I was ignored. A few weeks later we got a "Pre-approval" letter from them in the mail for up to 2 million. I sent the letter in an email and said this was a horrible thing to do to a small business that was depending on their deal. The reply was sorry for the delay, he should have final numbers for me that day. Have heard nothing since. I attempted to renew a term loan through Intuit that I have always been able to immediately get and was denied due to "too many inquiries on business credit. I don't know where to go from here. Stay away from this company!! Edit 6/5/26 Spoke to the manager of my account rep who stated he was new and should not have promised what he did. He said their ability to fund private credit has been significantly reduced in the past few months. He approved and funded the money needed for our current repair issue.
