Opened a can of tinned sliced peaches ... and it was fruit cocktail. Well the 30th birthday cake was ruined thank you.

Opened tin of fruit cocktail with expiry date of 2028 but was completely mouldy with large lumps of blue mould floating around. I sent three emails and then got a response from one back in July to say they'd like to send me vouchers as compensation but I have to reply to say I want them. I replied and two months later absolutely no response. Zero communication since and no compensation vouchers as promised.never again

If I could give this product 0 stars, I would. I opened a fresh can of Del Monte corn with the expiration date of September 28, 2028- product number 803315, and I found a dead caterpillar or maggot in the can. That is completely unacceptable and I am very dissatisfied with the product I have received. I also wrote an Email to corporate and attached pictures of the animal in the can of corn. That is absolutely disgusting and I don’t know if I can ever buy another Del Monte product again after this experience.

This should be a minus 5 review. I bought some peaches that tasted and smelt cheesy. It was fizzy on the tongue. It took ages to find a complaihts email. It took ages for Del Monte to get back to me. They merely said the quality varies as jts a natural product and in this case i had a bad bqtch. I emailed them for a refund. Its been over a month and no reply. They clearly don't give 2 hoots about making people ill. They clearly dont care for customers or the customers well being. They didnt even want to test the sample. The government must ban these companies from selling in the UK. People.must stop buying this junk!

I am ill, and told my husband to get me canned DelMonte pears, peaches, and fruit cocktail, though I havent had any for decades. I am so disappointed with all the fruit. Especially the fruit cocktail! Gone is the scrumptious fruits from childhood. I choked on a piece of pear stem that was stiff and scratched my throat! Many of the fruit cocktail had hard pieces, from the center of the fruit and actually grape stems inside the cans. DelMonte used to stand for quality. Not any longer in my book. It stands for “poor quality standards and more expensive.”

Green beans taste is off and stems seem to be found in every can. I switched to store bought and the quality difference was much better. Not sure what is going on at DelMonte but the disappointment has me avoiding their products these days.

I would do negative stars if I could. I bought a can of peas for a recipe. I opend them up and drained them. To my surprise there was less than a half cup of peas. The rest was water. How can I feed my family like that? I payed more to get a trusted brand and now they are no longer trusted. Quality my a**
