Course was great, but didn't actually decrease my insurance cost.
I completed the course a few weeks ago. I found the course to be a nice refresher on safe driving. Unfortunately, when I called my insurance company they only discounted my plan 1%. Not the hoped and anticipated 10% that I really needed. With that lower savings the course is not really usefull. It actually under cost me more to take the class then I saved on insurance costs.

Thank you for your feedback Dominick. We're sorry you did not see more savings from your insurance company. Major insurance companies give 15% off of liability premiums for the successful renewal of a state approved defensive driving course (10% off for completion of the basic course). Typical savings are around $200 - $300 per year.
