If you're referring to times when the course wouldn't let you advance to the next section, those are likely the timers required on the course. These are mandated by the NYS DMV to ensure students spend the minimum required time on each module, and we wish we didn't have to put them in place either. We know they can be frustrating, especially for fast readers. However, if you experienced actual technical glitches beyond the required timers, we'd definitely want to know about that. We wish we didn't have to enforce these timers, especially for fast readers like you who finish the content quickly. Unfortunately, we're required to follow strict guidelines set by the NYS DMV regarding minimum time requirements for each module. These aren't our rules, but they are mandatory for us to be an authorized course provider in New York. We know it's frustrating when you're ready to move on but the system makes you wait. We understand how some sections may have felt a bit wordy or repetitive—our course follows the exact structure and content guidelines required by the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), which sometimes means we need to include all material outlined in their rubric. That said, we’re always looking for ways to make the learning experience more engaging and better balanced while still staying compliant with state requirements. We’re glad to hear you found the sections on school buses and emergency vehicles especially strong—and your perspective as an experienced emergency vehicle driver means a lot to us. You’re absolutely right about the AI speech; this course was created back when we were experimenting with early text-to-speech tools to improve accessibility, but technology (and our standards) have come a long way since 2023! We completely agree that natural, human narration makes a world of difference in engagement and clarity. We're currently in the process of revamping this course with updated audio, improved pronunciation, and cleaned-up text throughout.
