Deeper AfricaReviews of deeperafrica.com

Deeper Africa did everything right, which made our safari experience absolutely perfect; even being sensitive to my serious dietary constraints. Our guides and camps were wonderful. I couldn't rate our experience any higher!

Excellent trip! Reliable tour company

A great safari experience from initial planning to final voyage! Karen and the Deeper Africa team turned our vague wish list of destinations into a detailed itinerary in Botswana and Zimbabwe. They found a way to incorporate the more "off the beaten track" destination on our wish list, Great Zimbabwe, by adding a stopover in Matobo Hills, which I didn't even know I wanted to see until they suggested it. Another operator told me not to even bother with Great Zimbabwe but Deeper Africa made it work. Everything had to be rescheduled twice due to COVID, but Deeper Africa handled everything seamlessly, including adapting the itinerary to deal with local COVID testing requirements. I highly recommend them.

Traveling to Africa is the trip of a lifetime and most people will say they had a fantastic experience there. However, planning a trip of this magnitude, especially during COVID, is a huge undertaking. Having Deeper Africa organize and manage this trip for us was absolutely fabulous! They made arrangements for every detail and made sure that we were completely taken care of during every portion of our trip. All of our accommodations were wonderful and our guide was exceptional! Without hesitation, I would absolutely recommend Deeper Africa to arrange your trip to Africa!

Fantastic trip. Excellent, thorough planning, professional and knowledgeable guide, and perfect camps for our group.

Deeper Africa provided us with professionalism, expert advice and we felt totally cared for throughout our journey. They assisted in helping us choose the right places for us to visit that met all our expectations. Every step of our travel was seamless. Thank you to Karen and all the Deeper Africa staff!

This was an absolutely wonderful trip. I have taken many trips over the years with numerous outfitters and this was among the best. They spent a lot of time talking with us and then putting together a personalized trip. Our guide, John Mndolwa, was fabulous -- great spotter, extremely knowledgeable about birds, animals, landscape, and a lot of fun to be with. Several people we met remarked what a great guide he was when they heard about our unique adventures. I did a lot of research before selecting Deeper Africa, and I am quite confident I made the right choice.

We had a wonderful experience with Karen and Deeper Africa. Their attention to detail was perfect and she put her heart into planning the perfect trip for our family. Karen also met with us and (separately) with our kids to educate us about the trip. She helped us pull off a fun and exciting trip for a group age 10 to age 82! And did it during COVID. Our guides were warm, well educated and fun. 10/10 I would recommend Deeper Africa.
