the person handling my case was hard to contact and after giving them several pieces of information in person,and by email I still got a call weeks later asking for the information again. Not secure that this person is compatent.

One year into bakruptcy, after having discussed my finances with your lawyers and making a plan and a budget to stay on top of my debt, I was hit with a yearly over $4,000.00. federal tax bill. In some years I also had to pay state taxes of over $200.00. Now at the end of my bankruptcy I owe over $10,000 in federal taxes. I tried to discuss this with a DS lawyer and got nowhere. Everytime I heard your commercial on the radio I wanted to scream! If I could give you no stars or negative stars I would do so!

I used debtstoppers to file bankruptcy bc I had been hearing and seeing their advertisement. My first impression of them was okay. Once I got started I saw how poor their communication was with their clients. They don't return calls nor respond to emails, they lose things you've turned in them is your fault when your case is about to be thrown out, then when you call to soak to somebody about they have an attitude bc you want to know why. I must say that there was some great people there that I cane in contact with though that did respond but they want the ones that could fix that particular problem. That's why I gave only 3 stars.
