My credit is not clear yet inquiry is still on my credit report I still got stuff still up on my credit report had not been removed yet

Went to Debt Stoppers because of all the advertising I had seen or heard. They were very professional and responsive in the beginning. All calls or emails were returned in a timely manner. Once my chapter 13 was filed and all of the attorney's fees had been paid (they take their $3500 1st) the experience changed. I got assigned a new attorney without my knowledge, he never returned calls, his paralegal never returned calls and the excuse I was given is that they get too many voice mails to listen to all of them! It took months just to get my address changed. Worst experience ever! They are just in it for the money they don't care about your case or helping you become debt free. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A MINORITY!

My experience was extemely well. I would rate Debt Stoppers 5 stars if not for the ending going nearly all wrong. I turned in all required documents and made several phone calls only to receive a letter stating my case was closed without discharge. I could have died! All that work for nothing, right? Well, I harangued the office for a couple of months and finally everything was reversed so all's well that ends well, I guess.

The lawyers at Debt Stoppers were knowledgeable, straightforward, and able to answer all my questions. Their services have allowed me to start my life over and build a legacy for my children. Erika M.

They did help me with my financial situation, however it was painful having to deal with them. I never knew who my contact was from time to time because they just kept bouncing me around. Since I did not need to speak to them on a regular basis, when i did I always got the run around. The contact numbers did not work from time to time and had to call the 800 number which routed me to Chicago. Questions were not always answered when asked. They had to "get back with me" and sometimes they did not. i ended up having to call back once I noticed no one was calling me back. Just not very good customer service, but like I said they got me out of debt. So I would recommend them in fact I sent a family member to them but warned them of the customer service faults.

Long process, but upon finishing it will have done all the hard work. I'm grateful that I can now start fresh with their help and guidance. Listen, learn and grow towards a better financial person.

Wasnt kepted in the loop enough. I didnt get returned calls from my lawyer or his paralegel assistant. The turn over rate was very high with your lawyers.
