Debt stopper came into my life when I was going through a separation from my spouse and my finances was out of control . They gave me the opportunity to get back on track . Literally held my hand through this process . I chose chapter 13 and now all my debts are paid . They answer my question retured my calls in a timely manner . I am very thankful for their help doing this trying time in my life . 😊

Not all of my creditors were notified. They kept calling me after I did my meeting. Then I was asked by debtstoppers to notify the creditors that kept calling. I hired them to do so but I still had to go out my way to send over information to the creditors who were not notified. I also did not get a discount for the inconvenience.

Overall this was a pretty good experience. I was given open and honest expectations on what to expect on how the process would go. The reason that I did not give 5 stars is as follows: 1. I made it very clear to the woman who filed my bankruptcy that I only get paid on the 15th and last day of the month. She sheduled my payment to occur every two weeks instead of bi-monthly. This caused my payments to be declined a couple of times. I received a very rude call from a Semrad employee inregads to my declined payment..after trying to explain the situation to him, he offered no help or resolution, eventhough I made all my payments on the 15th and 30th. 2. After I paid off my bankruptcy. Filed in Dec. Paid off in March...debt stoppers continued to draft my account for the monthly payment after I had already paid them in full. Debt Stoppers drafted 2 payments from my account after it had been paid in full. I stumbled across these unauthorized payment after reviewing my bank statement; debt stoppers rectified the issue in a somewhat expedient fashion, but it was still a very bad oversight on their end. These two blemishes left a bad taste in my mouht in regards to Semrad Law Firm but all in all the bankruptcy itself was handled professionally and I was provided with tools to help repair my credit after the bankruptcy. My bankruptcy is currently discharged. Thanks!

This company is very personable with their clients. They are concern with your needs and will help you with your decision one way or the other.

I paid for a service and the service was not surrendered. There are creditors on my credit that were included in the bankruptcy that should have been addressed.

The company is very liable and accepted and I am currently waiting on my improvements of my credit files as we speak just from seeing the debt be resolved from my creditors that took place as a consultant / consumer /client . I was inform that they have up to 90 days from the discharge date From my attorney to accurately report everything and discharge every thing and my case is paid up to-date also after 2 more payments.
