Would like DebtStoppers to answer phones a little bit faster and get back in touch with you a lot sooner taking too long to call back can do a better job than that

The customer service was ok but not very informative and when they tell you someone will call you back in 24hrs it isn't true atleast not for me.

Debtstoppers was able to help me re-start my financial goals. I made a few bad decision in my younger days. For the most part, I was very pleased with Debtstoppers. I'm giving them a 4 instead of a 5 because I had about 5 attorneys total throughout my 5 year plan. If I had already provided info or asked questions to the original attorney, I would have to provide and ask again. Also, their response time could've been better. Even the paralegal was slow to respond via e-mail & phone calls. I accomplished what I set out to do, so overall it was a good experience.

I still owed money to bill collectors after I was done with my chapter 13. My parking tickets were not being paid on at all. Still owe the city of chicago for parking tickets. My credit score was very low, debt stoppers is a rip off! I had to convert to a chapter 7 after paying them over 10,000 dollars.

I was in a really tough situation when I reached out to Debt Stoppers. I had done some research and even went in for free consultations with other attorneys before I decided to continue with DStoppers. I am very glad I did, when I walked in I was a bit overwhelmed to see how many people they had in their lobby area, but the young man at the reception area made me feel welcomed and was very polite and attentive. Even with that many people in the room, I was still made to feel as though I was an individual and not a $, this was my experience throughout my whole process. The paralegal Ms. Ortega was GREAT ! she was very patient and understanding. The attorney explained every document i signed, he explained what I was to expect from his services and also what to expect during the bankruptcy process. Any time I had a question i felt very comfortable calling the office and getting assistance. One of my creditors (once my BK was discharged) called and tried to collect, I called DStoppers and Maricuz assisted me with sending a copy of my discharge document was able to quickly settle the matter with the creditor. Making the decision to file was not an easy one, not once did I feel pressured to file nor felt judged by the staff. Everyone was so professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking into bankruptcy. Although I highly recommend them I would hope to never need their services again.
