This is a hard, emotional time for most. To have an attorney that not emotional connected hard. Things were said and done that made me feel more worst then I was when I went to see him. Yes I know he is there to his job and yes that is what I wanted. I also wanted a compassionate ear to say everything was going to be alright not lets see what is going to happen.

I am happy to be debt free, but I gave 4 stars because....even though I received a business card from my attorney, my voice messages were never returned. Even to this day. My debt has been discharged, but yet the attorney I was assigned to never called back to see if my concerns or questions were answered.

I went to them because i was being garnished they informed me they would stop it and that i wouldn't have money money taken. My money was taken and they showed no interest on getting it back after it was taken even though it was taken after filing I'm still waiting to receive the funds there have not contacted me back in 4 months

The harrassment from the collections department is horrible

You claimed it if I had suspended license that you could help that since working with you death Stoppers I have achieved bankruptcy now that I've been through the chapter 7 verse now I'm still receiving ticket information which is the reason I went bankruptcy in the first place bankruptcy in the first place from Chicago

My Debt Stoppers experience at the College Park GA office turned out to be just okay and nothing more. However, I could never get a response to my phone calls or emails. I had even emailed their headquarters and didn't get a response as well. I had to call another person at another Debt Stoppers office in Dunwoody GA to get my questions answered. (Many thanks to the people at the Dunwoody office.) Depending on your particular case, you will receive a bit of correspondence that will need your attention. So, be sure to do your part and take notice to any deadlines and dates. Also, keep a record and copies of EVERYTHING. When/if you have to go to court I would suggest taking all your records along with you especially your federal tax returns for the last few years in case someone did not receive or something get filed with the court as in my case. I had anticipated that and was prepared. I did experience a little frustration along the way due to the fact I could never get anyone to return my phone calls or respond to my emails and I'm sure that they get bombarded with new cases everyday. In the end, my case turned out favorable. If you have no idea of what to expect when it comes to filing bankruptcy and need someone to walk you through, step by step, and need people who are more readily available to answer your questions in a timely manner, I would suggest elsewhere.

The first 3yrs was excellent. I knew who my lawyer was. I had the email address of the paralegal and had no problem getting questions answers. Then something happen at the lawyers office(i don't know what). I had a lawyer change without being told. I no longer had the same paralegal. It was hard getting answers to questions that come up. The new lawyer actually let my bankruptcy get dismissed in court not knowing anything about my case. After calling me to let me know that my bankruptcy was dismissed and it was my fault the lawyer finally realize that a mistake was made. Luckily the lawyer was able to go back to the judge and had my bankruptcy reinstated. A few months later i call the new lawyer to ask a question and lo and behold the new lawyer was no longer my lawyer. The first 3yrs was excellent ! The last 2yrs was very disappointing!
