dealscube has an interesting section of their site called ''free items''. you pay for the item + shipping, receive it, and 30 days after your order, you can place a refund request. almost immediately, i received a refund of the price + shipping. so the item was definitely free. the only drawback is the 30 day waittime for the refund and the up-front cost.
