I enrolled in Data Engineer Academy because they advertised hands-on mentorship, real-world projects, and around-the-clock instructor support. After paying the full tuition, none of that materialized. Instructors were unresponsive, scheduled “office hours” never happened, and promised project feedback was completely absent. I was left scrambling for my own resources and guidance. This feels less like an academy and more like a money grab. If Data Engineer Academy wants to improve, they need to deliver on their core promises: assign dedicated mentors, actually hold live help sessions, and provide timely, constructive feedback on students’ work. Until they do, I can’t recommend them to anyone serious about a career in data engineering.

Review in April - It had been quite some time since I started working with data, but I was eager to upskill and transition into a product-based company. One day, I came across an ad for DAE Academy, and after thorough research, I decided to join. Looking back, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I've made. The structured, hands-on learning approach at DAE truly stands out, especially in today’s fast-paced tech world. The transformation I’ve seen in myself is incredible. A big thank you to Payal , Kareem who helped me upskill and be a huge support and the entire DAE Academy team for helping me unlock my potential. While learning is one part of the journey, performing well in interviews is a whole different challenge. Payal and Kareem were instrumental in helping me overcome my fears and build the confidence I needed. I’m deeply grateful to both of them for their support.

Over the past couple of months, my journey with the Data Engineer Academy has been nothing short of transformative. The in-depth course content, particularly the SQL sections, has helped me build a strong foundation and boosted my confidence for upcoming technical interviews. Coming from a zero tech background, the on-boarding process was very easy. Waqar was great! I have Afnan as my CSM and couldn't be happier about the experience! He's patient, as he's aware of my background (or lack of) and makes me aware of his expectations. I LOVE that it's work at your own pace and if I ever get stuck, there's an absolute ton of experience to help me through whatever it is that I'm stuck on. I'm excited to continue my growth with DEA and, if necessary, align with them in the future again

They are patient with first timers and very informative of all the courses! Very explanatory!
