I've had a good experience so far. I have not finished the program yet, so I'll leave a final review after. The course material is quite extensive and gives broad exposure to the DE world. The SME feedback and engagement is also good, as well as the success coaches. I get the feeling they want genuine success for their students. The AWS and Databricks exposure actually help me land a software engineering role while I'm finishing the course. There is A LOT of material to cover, so don't think you'll just blast through it without being dedicated.

I've been a DEA student for just about 4 months now and I couldn't be happier about my decision to join. Since starting my curriculum, I've been able to refresh my SQL and Python coding skills while learning many modern technologies in the data engineering tech stack, including cloud tools such as Snowflake, AWS, Airflow, Databricks, and DBT, as well as more theoretical concepts such as data modeling, schema architecture, and system design. I was very nervous to join DE Academy at first, worried that their promises were too good to be true. But, after going through the learnings myself and hearing many other testimonials within the Skool and Slack channels, I can say that I've never been more confident in my decision to become a student.

I worked with Monisha Murugan and she is fantastic. Really proactive and always willing to support whatever I need. It makes me feel like I am not in this alone :-)

I'm further in the program and thought I would give an update. It's still been really great. I'm getting close to being prepared for sending out applications and hopefully getting some interviews. I've been working with Monisha M. and she's been fantastic. Really, everyone at the academy has been great. Everyone is always checking in and making sure you doing okay and asking if there's anything they can help with.

The pointers that I can incorporate in the Behavioural Test questions. My weakness in terms of listening to the questions came to light.

I’ve had a positive experience with Data Engineer Academy so far. The program provides a structured learning path and gives you the opportunity to work on practical data engineering concepts rather than just focusing on theory. I especially like the hands-on approach and the opportunity to practice SQL, Python, data engineering tools, and real-world scenarios. The mock interviews and guidance have also been helpful in understanding what to expect in the job market. There is definitely a learning curve, and some topics can be challenging, especially for someone transitioning into data engineering, but the support and resources make the process easier to navigate. Overall, I would recommend Data Engineer Academy to someone who is serious about building their data engineering skills and willing to put in the time and effort. There is always room for improvement, but my experience has been positive overall.
