Fatal Flaw: The Sleazy "Gates" System
If you are submitting your music, do not use the Standard tier.
The "Gates" system, presented as optional, is actually compulsory and automatic, meaning DailyPlaylists will use your linked account access to follow dozens of tiny artists and playlists with tacky AI-generated graphics without notifying you, badly damaging your account and making any desperate artist who pays DP to do this look absolutely terrible.
Until they show much more transparency about how the Gates system actually operates, don't trust DailyPlaylists.
PS: "Optional" here means "if you don't like it, don't use the service," which is technically "optional," I suppose. I maintain that if the Gates system is something all your users understand and support, you would be far more upfront about it, especially when someone asks about it directly.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, we take concerns like this seriously and want to explain you how Gates actually work.
When you submit a track, some curators (not all) choose to set up a Gate: a small action required before your submission is completed, such as following the curator or their playlist, or saving the track on Spotify. This is entirely optional; you decide whether to complete the action and submit, and it has no effect on your credits or how you use the platform.
We're sorry this wasn't clear to you before submitting, and we understand how damaging it feels if your account ended up following pages you didn't expect.

I paid $29.00 and had two responses out…
I paid $29.00 and had two responses out of 5 in 4 days. one praising the song and saying that in the future they will add it their country playlist which I'm sure they will forget in time and the other saying it didn't fit their genre when I picked my genre correctly. There is no way to ask for refund as I want one. Stay clear from this company its like a scam.

We're sorry to hear you are not getting the results you expected with the platform. We would like to clarify how our credit system works:
- Standard Credits: These credits are not eligible for refunds and expire 21 days after issuance.
- Premium Credits: These are refunded if a submission remains unanswered after seven days, or if the curator chooses to issue a refund.
If you have any specific submissions that have not fit the track or do not match your submission, please forward them to us to review them. We would be happy to assist you.

Too much risk. Little or no return on money spent
Maybe this works if you make music that sounds like everyone else. All premium submissions so far have been rejected yet these are the lists recommended.. I need money spent on promo to actually promote my music. I don't need feedback saying how good my music is but it's the wrong kind or reggae or soul or funk.
Think this model would work if you only paid when you are playlisted. Too much risk otherwise.
