Well... here's my review. I'm thinking it's not a bad idea to get another DA87SE as I use it quite a lot, on everything. It wins more than loses, but more than that, the final product, after the mix, sounds better. It's not the most expensive mic I have, so I've already got my money back just on vocals and acoustic guitars, piano. I've even had luck as it being a solo room mic for the drums. The mic does what all good gear does: demonstrates it's eagerness to be invited to the party! Again and again.

The mic seems remarkably good at this price point. I am very happy with how it sounds, the build quality and the full customer experience. Longer than usual wait after purchase but worth it.

So far this mic sounds very good. I have not yet had a chance to compare against my friends U87, but I'm impressed with what I'm getting from it so far.
