DA87i has turned out to be a wonderful addition to my mic closet. The smoothness of the upper frequencies is what sells this mic. However, one can’t ignore the solid richness of the lower frequencies. A very nice balance, indeed. My songwriter friend has been using it almost exclusively on his album project, so I’m not entirely sure when I’ll get this thing back. But, the results have been incredible. I have plans for mic’ing upright bass, guitar cabinets, etc. with this mic. I didn’t have much hope for a budget clone, but this mic has proved my fear to be unfounded. I’ll definitely purchase another soon, and I’m very interested in getting SE model when it gets back in stock. Dachman has outdone themselves on this one. You will not be sorry if you get one, especially considering the amazing price point. My only question, is what does Dachman have in store for the future?

I own multiple Dachman mics and use them in the live sound space. The mics were delivered quickly and both sound incredible given the price tag. I'd recommend these mics over Shure, Ear Trumpet, Audix, and just about any large diaphragm I've seen in a live setting.

An excellent performer. It is a joy to have such quality at a most affordable price. To be honest it exceeded my expectations. Call me Very Satisfied.

Honestly. After 2 vocal sessions, simply Adding a V76 UAD plugin , this Mic is exactly as advertised and has climbed up the mic ladder. Gonna be my go to for album 2.
