Dachman AudioReviews of dachmanaudio.com

Excellent product. The mic is everything that was described. The only thing that is at all negative is how long the delivery took. Other than that, I am a very happy camper.

All the information I found on the website, including video, was superb. The ordering process was as I expected. And everything was delivered quickly with attention to well packaging my new microphone. On my first plug in, everything worked beautifully. Took me a second to figure out setting up the shock guard, but managed just fine. The wooden box it came in is very nice as well. As for the mic itself, loving it so far. I've only used it on a single track but it sounded amazing. I'm very happy on my upgrade purchase. John in Seattle

First, I have their 87 and the 47 is another absolutely fantastic mic in its own right (whether comparing to the classics or not). Second - something went wrong with the shipping but Josh got on it right away and the mic came just in time for a song I was completing. Great mics, great service, great value for the money.

O would give you ten. Anything the 87 ai doesn't do....the Fet47 does. Planning to get a second 87

I need to know If I can send mine back and get the black ones. I didn’t know you had black ones until yesterday and they are in front of our Video Wall at church! Thank you

The hundreds of extraordinary reviews caught my attention. The DA 87i arrived more quickly than expected. I plugged it in side-by-side with a Neumann and recorded a vocal on both at the same time. The DA had a little lower output, which I corrected for. I did A/B tests and got confused about which one I was listening to. I immediately boxed up the Neumann, returned it to the owner, and breathed a sigh of relief that I didn't break it. I'm now a converted and devoted Dachman guy.

A great sounding U47 copy at a (relatively) affordable price.

I got my 87i mic and hooked it up through the exact same pre and compressor chain that I've been using with two other mics for a project I am working on, and it sounded incredible. To my ears, indistinguishable from the mic that inspired the 87i. Very impressed!
