The mic itself is amazing. I love the over all quality of material and sound. The absence of low end roll off sounds amazing with my Baritone/ Bass voice. I was bummed that I was certain I had pressed the $100 off button as it wasn't available at check out yet paid $699. Great price, don't get me wrong. Just really thought it would be taken care of at checkout or upon receiving the order. Who wouldn't want $100 off? A bit bummed that 6 weeks after I order there's a deal for 50% off 2nd mic as I would have purchased later and gotten the second. Having worked in musical retail for many years I always tried to afford my clients with all the details of purchasing particularly when they could save money and I could sell them more stuff.

Only recorded jazz clarinet so far. It sounds great.

Mic is great. Packaging however kind of sucked. One corner a little crushed Lot of foam bits/dust when i opened the white cardboard box. Thankfully the mic was wrapped individually but it was kind of wack to have to vaccum up a little pile of rubber foam shavings leftover from molding/routing or whatever. I guess on sale is on sale.

I bought two mics but only received one, but this was quickly corrected after pointing out the error. All’s well that ends well, but I was hoping to get a pair of mics with adjacent serial numbers. Nonetheless, I am looking forward very much to trying the mics !

Finally got the microphone. Originally sent by USPS which does not deliver to my house. I contacted your office and it was resent by UPS and I received the package a week later. Microphone appears to be of very good quality. Everything as advertised. Thank you. I’m

The microphone itself is very good, warm and smooth and well-made. The reason I held back one star is pertains to shipping and documentation. For some days after I had ordered and paid, Shop only reported my order as "processing" without a ship date. On contacting Dachman, they indicated that there was a backlog at the factory, and that it would ship soon, which it did. Secondly, the microphone arrived in a nice wooden storage case, which is great, but the rather beefy shock mount hardware has to be stored elsewhere because it doesn't fit in the box. A larger box to contain everything would be helpful. And finally, the microphone arrived without any paperwork. Normally a beautiful piece of hardware like this includes a warranty card, a serial # and a spec sheet with the EQ response curve. I contacted the company again and they replied that most people throw this information away so they don't include it. I normally keep it and use it.

The Quality of the Microphone, packaging, and performance is top notch. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of five was because it took over a month for me to receive the product.

Awesome microphone! I have so many mics and decided I didn't need another one. I tested it against my TLM 103 and it was very comparable. Nice and warm. The gain on the Dachman was very low. I had to crank up everything and add a compressor and massive gain to get it to the same level. I did not like that part at all. A great overall mic though.
