Great Dietician, Horrible front office.
I have been working with a dietician from Culina Health for about a year. The dietician has been great and the reason for the 1 star. (would give the dietician 5 stars but the company gets 0) Seems like they don't know how to bookkeep or deal with insurance. Out of nowhere and with no prior discussion or warning, I was sent 5 invoices and an email saying "insurance rejected these, you gotta pay" which honestly I have zero issue with, but told them please do not initiate automatic payment because I want to talk to my insurance and find out what is going on. Unfortunately, I was charged for all of the invoices about 36 hours after I received them. A few points - - 2 of the invoices were from Sept '26 and the claims were not accessible via my insurance website (so it would take some time to call and find out what was happening) - This uncovered multiple duplicate charges - also uncovered multiple charges to my insurance from a name that I was not familiar with - People answering emails only could say how much they tried and wanted to help, but didn't want to listen when I revoked authorization to any auto payments. - their user agreement says or said nothing of auto payments - just that you needed a card on file and are responsible for any balance insurance doesn't cover - Their office team will ghost you when convenient for them. (ie nobody every answered who the random name was, why there were multiple charges for the same visit, and why there were multiple charges for the same visit when one instance of the claim had been paid - then why are they invoicing me again for it) - Not to mention, the a couple of the unpaid claims are back from April '26...how are they just catching it now, but can charge me for an appt I had last week? Be careful. The dieticians are great, the front office sucks.
