Hi there, Chuck, Thank you for reaching out to us with your feedback and the experience that you had. I am so sorry that that was the experience you had with CUDDLY. That is absolutely not the experience we want you to have. CUDDLY is a free fundraising and wishlist platform for non-profit animal rescues and shelters to utilize. We implemented our tip feature to help us cover the cost of financial transactions and CUDDLY's continuing mission to support rescues and shelters around the world. That being said, the tip feature is also 100% optional. You can opt out of tipping by clicking "custom amount" and typing "0". That with our 2.99$ Processing Fee is most likely why your donation went from 50$ to 61.99$. CUDDLY will never require donors to pay for unintended tips and we can absolutely refund any donations as long as they have not been sent off to the shelter or rescue you have donated to. I would like to offer a partial refund, your unintended tip, or a full refund if you would like. I would also like to offer any help I can in using credit cards to donate rather than the experience you had with PayPal!
