To guarantee the long-term success of our business, uphold our dedication to assisting shelters and rescues, and comply with state laws, donors will be kindly asked to cover any applicable sales tax. Sales tax will not apply to monetary-only donations. This adjustment will play a vital role in enabling us to sustain our support for the animals who depend on your unwavering generosity. If you see that you were incorrectly charged sales tax, please reach out to us and we'll get that corrected! We do have a 2.99$ fee for donations, so if you did make a monetary only donation, that maybe what you saw! Concerning the tipping feature, we implemented this option to help keep our platform completely free for shelters and rescues to use. That being said, the tip feature is also 100% optional.
