I ordered from these to receive a half finished item. I contacted them to be told I would get a re make and they would send a pre paid label to pay to return the unfinished one. Time passed with no update so I contacted again and asked and was promised a full refund. But they wernt going to send a pre paid label and I wasn't getting my refund until they had the unfinished item back with them. I am in the UK this company is in the USA. So that's postage and custom fees they also want me to cover. Now I am being refused a full refund but only 20%. This company are preying on people that are grieving. This was meant to be a clone of my dog that had just passed away. I wouldn't reccomend or trust anything this company says after all the empty promises and lies. Hold your heads in shame. Let's hope paypal can get me my money back

Terrible
Terrible. Not even close to my pet. Company is unresponsive. Sad. I guess it's hit or miss who they get to produce your animal. Mine was butchered. I'll be happy to share photos.

So disappointed
I love the idea of cuddle clones and have seen many posts where they get the replicas spot on. Unfortunately, this was not the case for me. I put in a rush order and paid about $460CAD for my cuddle clone. The colours were faded and looked like the dye they used to colour the clone mixed up. It looks so messy and dirty.
I would not recommend this to anyone. I was grieving a lost pet and had requested them to take extra care to make my clone resemble the photos. I am so disappointed seeing the lack of care this company put into making my order.

attn: don’t do this is you’ve recently lost a pet.
I lost my soul dog 5 weeks ago, it has been the most depressing point of my life thus far in 38 years. I ordered a cuddle clone of my dog Roxy before she passed away, I would say 7-8 weeks ago. I’ve been anticipating finally receiving a replica of my baby in the mail. Maybe a little too much.
Well I couldn’t be any more disappointed. It looks nothing like my dog, and to be honest I didn’t even get past the face to see what else was incorrect. I provided more than ample pictures, I was actually surprised at how many pics I had of weird angles, etc. but the face? How can that be so off? It honestly looks like a generic stuffed animal you’d see anywhere. Nothing like my special girl.
Torn on what to do, it was a gift and I don’t want to hurt my friends feelings. But I also
Don’t want him to waste his money. They gave me the option of sending it back for a full refund, or give them a list of what changes i need.. I don’t know how one could ever explain any changes if they can’t even replicate 25+ photos of the actual animal with their eyes. Oh and probably wait another long 2 months... but If i do that I am stuck with whatever the second one they send me looks like, and frankly it could be even worse. Definitely not what I was expecting, nor needed, when I’m having a really really hard time dealing with the loss of my soul dog. I hope none of you are here because of the same reason I was (sick and/or death of your pet) because anyway around this was a bad experience when I was definitely never expecting one, especially for the amount of money that has been spent. Either way, good luck.

This company charges a lot of money for…
This company charges a lot of money for their product but does not stand behind it. I received their product as a gift, contacted them about a defect in the item and was told they were delayed in responding to me because of COVID restrictions. I understood. Now they won’t give me a remake or a refund for their product because it’s outside their return window. It’s a disgrace to charge so much and not make the situation right when they can clearly see the defect was in their manufacturing. BEWARE!!

Terrible Products!
DO NOT buy from them! I am being generous giving Cuddle Clones a single star and am only doing so because the customer service rep offered to give me a 20% refund, not that it puts a dent in the $78.27 I spent there or makes up for the utter disappointment. I was past the "must receive by" deadline to order a plush clone item for Christmas, thank goodness, but I did order 3 other items. First, ball markers for the golfer in my family. Thought it would be cute. Instead, I will be embarrassed to give the markers, even as a funny stocking stuffer. They look like a casino chip with a puppy's picture in the middle. Disappointed, but I let it go. Then the socks came in. I've never seen socks made with such terrible material, not any kind of sock material I have ever seen, and it looks like one size fits all, women or men. Again, disappointed, but maybe a silly gift for a stocking stuffer. Then item 3 arrives. A coffee mug that did not have the picture I sent. They extracted only the picture of the dog. If I wanted a picture of only the dog on the coffee mug I would have sent such a picture or selected one of the other two pictures I sent for the socks and ball marker. Three strikes and you're out. I called customer service. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice. He offered to check with their design team to see if they can redo the mug with the picture they had on file. Of course, the answer was they cannot. I asked the rep to please share with the design team my thoughts about their answer that it makes absolutely no sense that they cannot put the full picture on a mug. It actually is more work to extract just the image of the dog and print that on a mug than it would be to print the whole picture. And, that there's a big difference between cannot and will not. Since technology tells us it CAN be done, that means the design team at Cuddle Clones WOULD NOT! I told the rep that I'm sure it can be done at a place like Walgreens for a lot cheaper. After hanging up the phone with the rep, that is exactly what I did; I designed and ordered a mug online at Walgreens for $16.99 with a whole lot more design added to the mug. Beware! Don't get ripped off of your money as I did. I threw $62.62 (after the 20% refund) out the window. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Terrible
I ordered a surprise gift for my wife of our smooth collie on July 28, 2020. I sent double the number of photos requested of our dog to make sure they got it right and I spoke to them on the phone because at that time they were answering their phone. You can no longer speak to them on the phone but only by email or chat. The total cost was $263.10 including $20 for expedited shipping. The clone arrived on August 28, 2020. It did not look like our collie. The snoot was too short and too thick, the colors were not right, and the tail was wrong. I sent it back and told them I needed it as soon as possible since it was a gift for the beginning of September. They told me that I would not get expedited service even though I originally paid $20 for it and it would take 3-4 weeks to get the redone clone back. After not receiving anything or any notifications 2 months later I contacted them by email on Oct. 22, 2020. I received a response by email on October 22, 2020 saying “sorry for the inconvenience” that they checked with their “production team” and “that it’s not close to being finished yet.” The email concluded by saying “I know that the wait has been too long already, and we don’t want to keep you waiting. We’d be glad to offer a refund for this. Please let me know your final decision.” After wasting 3 months with them holding my money I requested an immediate refund. After 5 days of not receiving the refund I called American Express to have the charge on my card canceled and a credit issued which they did. This has been an extremely bad and disappointing experience for me. If anyone is thinking about ordering a clone for Christmas or a special occasion, “let the buyer beware,” think again and pass on this company.

HORRIBLE
To everyone asking about why it takes so long to get your "cuddle" clone. Well that is because IT IS MADE IN CHINA. That is why something it takes a million years to get it and why communication is so bad. You are literally paying hundreds of dollars for something that costs no more than a few dollars of labor for. Now with COVID and the new Chinese trade issues, I can only imagine how bad this waiting period has become.
