Comfort In The Midst of Grief
I lost my 14-year-old Chihuahua, Lily Pearl, on May 22, 2022. My husband and I were, and still are, devastated by her loss. A few days after her passing, and in deep grief, I ordered a Cuddle Clone to look like Lily. I was so excited, but also apprehensive, for its arrival. After I submitted my order, the company emailed me with some questions to make it even more personalized, which I very much appreciated, including making sure the color of her coat was accurate and even the underside of her belly. I was a flurry of emotions when I opened the package and I’ve never felt more grateful for a material item. The likeness is simply amazing and I am forever grateful to the artists for creating some things so meaningful to me. Lily pearl used to sleep with us at night, and I’ve been having a very hard time sleeping without her. This Cuddle Clone has made it so much easier. Sometimes I wake up and see the Cuddle Clone’s face and I instantly feel comforted. I know this doesn’t bring Lily pearl back in anyway, but it has helped me tremendously in my grieving process. I am forever grateful! Thank you so much!
