Disappointing Experience With SEO Execution, Transparency and Billing
We hired CUBE AI based on their claims around AI-driven SEO, but unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations. The blog content delivered did not meet the quality or brand standards we expected. Much of the content appeared to us to be AI-generated, and several pieces were published without our approval. We also requested revisions that were not implemented. In addition, we discovered outbound links embedded in the website code that had not been disclosed to us, including links to third-party websites we had not approved. We authorized a one-time payment for the first month of the engagement. After we raised our concerns and decided to terminate the engagement, additional charges were made to our payment method that we had not authorized. We disputed these charges with our payment provider, but the dispute was unsuccessful, leaving us responsible for them. We have worked with several SEO agencies over the years, and this experience was significantly different from what we expected. Our concerns included the quality and execution of the work, communication around approvals and revisions, transparency regarding links, and our experience with billing. Based on our experience, we would encourage other businesses to carefully review the scope of work, approval process, and billing terms before engaging CUBE AI.

Hi Macie, We're sorry to hear you were disappointed, but we have to respectfully disagree with several of the claims here, as our records tell a different story. The engagement was set up as a recurring monthly service, not a one-time payment, and this was reflected in the agreement authorizing recurring billing. Every charge processed corresponds directly to an invoiced month of work under that agreement. Our content also goes through a defined process, and we take feedback on quality and brand alignment seriously. Where edits were requested, our intention is always to implement them, and if any request was missed, we'd genuinely want to understand where that broke down. As for the outbound links, we'd welcome the chance to review the specific pages with you, as any links in delivered work are part of standard SEO practice and not intended to point anywhere you hadn't approved. We put real effort into this engagement and stayed available throughout. We have detailed records of the work completed, our communications, the billing history, and the dispute outcomes, and we're glad to share them so we can address these concerns properly.
