If I could leave 0 stars I would. I rented one of the mobile homes associated with Crowdvest and my experience was extremely disappointing. The property was not move-in ready when we moved in. There were multiple problems with the home from the beginning, and I reported maintenance issues during my tenancy. Some were never properly addressed. Among the issues I experienced were problems with the septic/plumbing setup that resulted in wastewater draining underneath the trailer, heating and air conditioning that did not work and were not repaired after being reported, a hole in the bedroom floor that took months to be repaired, and ongoing bathroom issues that I reported, including black-colored growth. I was told this was a “growth” rather than black mold. At move-out, the property was inspected and I was told it was very clean. After returning the keys, I received a security-deposit statement containing charges that I dispute. I have requested documentation supporting those charges. This review is based on my personal experience as a tenant and the communications and records I retained during my tenancy. I would not recommend this rental company based on my experience. Anyone considering renting from them should thoroughly document the condition of the property before moving in, keep every maintenance request and communication, and take extensive photos and videos at move-out.
