Ich habe ein Patreon-Abo, bei dem Livestreams per Crowdcast übertragen werden. Fast jedes Mal bricht der Livestream ab. Nach mehreren Monaten hat Crowdcast das Problem behoben. Jetzt kann ich mich nicht mehr in den Livestream einloggen: beim Login per E-Mail wird mir immer wieder ein nicht funktionierender Link geschickt. Beim Login per Patreon-Username werde ich immer wieder zum Login weitergeleitet, hänge also in einer Login-Schleife fest. Derartige Probleme hätte man vor 20 Jahren erwartet, aber das es heute so schwer ist, einen flüssigen Livestream zu übertragen (die Konkurrenz schafft das schon lange...), ist echt erbärmlich.

I love this platform, it is super user-friendly, with a great look and feel, allowing multiple levels of participation, and very simple to operate. The tech support is also great, making it a really robust virtual platform for regular online meetups.

I also have found it impossible to unsubscribe. I never asked for the service in the first place and every request to unsubscribe is ignored. Not good enough if you consider yourselves to be a professional business.

Email after email after email from these scumbags and the unsubscribe option lasts for one week and then they just start coming again. I got FIVE EMAILS IN ONE HOUR from these jerks last night! I am so sick of these obnoxious spammers! And when you contact support all you get is some AI slop asking if you need support! As though people are just emailing support to say hello?! And when you DO finally reach a human, they tell you that they are not responsible for the emails that they send!

DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE IF YOU VALUE MAKING MONEY IN YOUR BUSINESS Imagine this, you’re a growing company with a small committed team. You’re selling online and use live events to do so. You sign up for crowd cast due to them paying for ads and the software has some nice features. You setup a live event 4 weeks out and commit to spending $150k in ad spend to drive people to that event. The morning of the event comes, the team is all together and fired up, you log into crowd cast, enter the green room, count to 10 calm the nerves and hit GO LIVE….go live…..go live…..go live…..nothing. It just spins. $150k worth of paid leads are waiting. You scramble, you reach out to crowd cast support, “well respond hours from now” … great. What do we do? We scramble to zoom, send out a quick email blast. Now our expected 20-30% show rate drops to maybe 5-10% if we’re lucky. Literally taking our ad spend, and throwing almost half of it out the window. YES this is real, YES this happened to us. Crowdcast is a tempting platform, do not fall for it. No other platform we’ve used in the past has failed us in those moments, that’s the reality in this industry. Crowdcast is unreliable, and buggy (automating registrants from your own opt in form is a nightmare that every other platform seems to have figured out). Yes this is OUR experience and I’m sure there are some great reviews out there. But how can you operate a business knowing that your MAIN SALES MECHANISM has a known failure rate far above other platforms. Run from this company.

Crowdcast has been a wonderful asset to The Arlington Institute in our programs to reach a wider audience! It allowed us to seamlessly livestream from our physical events in Berkeley Springs.

LOVE CROWDCAST - replaced Zoom webinars for me

I appreciate the easy registration and auto reminders for participants. Controls/settings/functions are intuitive. Using supplemental sound tech is easy as well. Quality of both video stream and sound is good.
