Having a team of experts working together to aid me in the college searching, applying, and deciding processes was paramount to where I ended up. Everyone that I worked with was honest yet hopeful and constantly cheering me on.

As someone with big dreams but limited guidance in my immediate environment, navigating the U.S. college system felt like walking into the unknown. But from the moment I met my strategist, I knew I wasn’t going to be alone in that journey. She didn’t treat me like just another student chasing Ivy dreams; she took the time to understand my motivations, my frustrations, and even the fears I didn’t always say out loud. She helped me connect the dots between my life story and the values I wanted to reflect in my application. We talked about the challenges I faced growing up, the moments I felt powerless, and the reasons I chose to lead educational projects across Latin America. My application mentor was equally supportive. He reviewed every essay draft, even the ones I wasn’t proud of, with kindness and insight. There were moments I second-guessed my writing, when I felt like maybe my words weren’t “impressive” enough. But he reminded me that vulnerability is strength, and that sharing my truth — my father’s story, my passion for education equity, my leadership journey — was more powerful than any perfect-sounding sentence. When I opened my UPenn acceptance letter, I couldn’t stop crying. Not just because I had gotten into my dream school, but because it felt like every part of me had been validated. Crimson helped me tell my story with pride and honesty. I’m endlessly thankful.

I joined Crimson in August last year, and since then, it has been an amazing experience. Crimson's mentors and advisors are extremely knowledgeable and kind people, who truly want to see you succeed. My team, Helen, Ishani, Terry, Joe, and Aishe were instrumental in my college acceptances – I really would not have been able to go through the process without them. Crimson's software is also extremely helpful. After seeing my other friends struggle with organizing and keeping track of their essay docs, the Crimson software UI and especially the essay lab feature became extremely meaningful to me. Beyond just application strategy. Crimson's essay writing advisors and mentors are super helpful. They really help you stay on track with all your drafts and give you extremely insightful and meaningful feedback. Crimson's Former Admissions Officers are also very helpful in this process, allowing you to cultivate your entire application. All in all, great experience! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for strong college counseling services.
