The summer before Grade 12, I started looking into platforms that could help with the college application process, and that’s when I came across Crimson. I was really interested in what they offered, so I reached out to their team. After showing the platform to my dad, we decided to give it a try. I didn’t start as early as some students, but even beginning just before Grade 12 made a huge difference. As a Canadian student and a soccer player, I didn’t really understand the U.S. application system or how to present myself beyond athletics. My Crimson team helped me build my confidence and guided me through every step, from highlighting my strengths to understanding the whole process. At the time, I was also recovering from ACL surgery, and they supported me emotionally through that too, reminding me that I had so much potential off the field as well. Crimson helped my application stand out by refining my essays, personal statement, and activities. Every mentor I worked with was amazing. Christine, my strategist, guided me through everything from my activities to my university list and was always there to answer questions or give feedback. Arsala, my SAT mentor, helped me reach my best score, while my Canadian strategist, Jinwoo, made sure I had strong backup options in Canada. Caitlyn, my essay and interview mentor, helped me polish my writing and prepare for interviews, and Ebony, my Capstone mentor, supported me every step of the way on my project. Together, they gave me confidence, direction, and the tools I needed to succeed. All of that support helped me get through such an important year with clarity and purpose. I’m so grateful I found Crimson when I did. Without their help, getting into my dream school, Notre Dame, wouldn’t have been possible.

Crimson is very professional and knowledgeable, and they know how to make continuous progress with our child. After only one year, Crimson has made significant progress in the college journey that we could not have made on our own. We like that you are not working with just one individual; you have an entire team of support with deep expertise in a variety of areas. The pieces of the process that we value most with Crimson are: 1) They keep our child accountable and on track. Our son has a monthly meeting with his counselor to checkin on the tasks that were clearly outlined in the month prior, which keeps him making steady progress. 2) They nudge our child to realize his full(er) potential. Let's face it; he's a teenager and he would rather be doing the things he enjoys. However, the counselor clearly lays out the path each month and strongly encourages my son to take it. Things he would normally say no to us, are a yes to the counselor, which makes our life easier. 3) They expose our son to opportunities that we didn't know existed and prioritize appropriately so he knows how to manage his time. They know the programs that will make the biggest impact on his college application so he can focus on what really matters.

As parents of a NYC private school junior, we were very deliberate about choosing the right College Prep Consultants - trying our best to evaluate for the most effective, best fit for our daughter and overall value, from a host of highly marketed choices. First, however, as a first timer - I'd recommend all parents to use a professional College App service, if you can (for so many reasons...). Second, I think its important to ensure there is a good fit with the student and the primary counselor before signing up. Third, make sure you are getting extra full-service help and advice from the service, especially for the price you are paying, and make sure your student is bought in to the people and the process! While you never know how its gonna be when you actually sign up - Crimson more than satisfied all criteria for us - they essentially had a 3-person team for my daughter (plus others along the way), with regular meetings with her counselor, a handful with former Admission Officers, and many with an experienced essay consultant. They all got on well with my daughter and were well versed in the specific application details, and in addition to their knowledge and advice - they all really seemed to care. Not only did it allow us to be hands off as parents, it motivated and gave a support system and great pathway for my daughter to follow and take ownership of the process, knowing she had experts in her corner. I definitely credit Crimson a lot for helping my daughter ultimately get in to her dream school! Thank you Crimson.

Crimson is BY FAR the most preeminent and successful college counseling outfit we know of, and we researched and investigated more than ten other firms in making our decision. They are extremely innovative, use technology to improve and ease the experience, their cross-functional team is unmatched and unique in their expertise, their client first service to both the student and the parents is excellent, their standards are VERY high, and they really know their subject matter. If you can afford this service, they are definitely the very best firm to use to maximize the probability of success for your student. No one like Crimson out there!

The accompaniment of Crimson makes the process to universities in the United States much easier and more organized.

Yumi and Delanya are very helpful as student success manager and strategiest respectively. They helped provide many helpful options and suggestions for me. Yumi provided lots of detailed information about the ACT, and Delanya has helped with everything in high school so far. Would highly suggest.

Excellent and helpful

Each Child is different, what may work for one may not for another. The advantage with Crimson is that they have a host of counselors and for each area. This really helps and you can find your best fit.
