This week’s camp at Davis-Monthan AFB was absolutely amazing! Mr. Jalen and Mr. Alex did an incredible job, and I truly appreciate the effort and passion they brought. I sincerely hope to see more camps like this in the future! I understand that many parents are cautious when it comes to exposing their children to technology, and I completely respect that concern. However, I also believe that in trying to protect them, we may unintentionally limit their ability to thrive in a world that is increasingly driven by tech. Our kids deserve the opportunity to learn and grow in this space, and this camp was a huge step in the right direction. I’d love to see future camps explore topics like generative AI, with a focus on how to use it ethically and responsibly. It would also be valuable to introduce tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, helping kids express creativity in digital formats. Additionally, I believe it’s essential to teach students about online safety, cybersecurity, and what not to share on social media. These topics are critical for helping our kids navigate the internet safely and responsibly. You’ve earned my trust this week, I entrusted my child to you, and you absolutely delivered. I can’t wait to see what you offer next. Thank you for creating such a meaningful and empowering experience!
