Right fit? After a very long “review “ process, they agreed to refund my money minus a $25 restocking fee. They did however let me keep the holster that can be made to work with another firearm.
After using their own fit guide to match up a pistol to holster, the holster arrived too small. Getting them to exchange/replace with the correct fit has been like an act of congress. The quality (and price) is first class. The customer service is far from what you’d expect for a quality American company

The leather gun belts are not of the quality I've previously received. The leather is too soft and thin to qualify as a gun belt. Just a dress belt called a gun belt.

Disappointed: Not a Carry Belt, Too Flimsy.
I received my belt yesterday after over a month wait. On first look, it shows the Craft attention to detail and workmanship. Unlike the holsters, where the leather is firm and thicker, I am disappointed on how thin and flimsy the belt feels. It will make a nice non-carry belt, but I feel if I use it for carry, which would be all the time, it won't be long before the belt starts stretching and sagging. I've purchased various brands of leather carry belts and none of them were this thin, and all have the buckle secured with two screws, vice the one on this belt. After purchasing two outstanding holsters from Craft, which set the bar high, I guess I was expecting the same level of construction in the belt.

I wanted a replacement holster not a run around…
I ordered a shoulder holster and by the time I got the holster I had added a Crimson trace to my Sig P320. I went out of town for a few months and left it behind. When I got back, I tried to swap the horizontal holster but time had passed. The associate sent me an email offering me a replacement holster for $109 plus shipping with a 30% discount. On Monday at 0446 I wrote telling them I would like to buy the replacement but another associate said I had to order it on Sunday before the unpublished deadline expired. Give me a break...who answers emails on Sunday or takes orders on Sunday. Just seemed like BS to me.

I purchased a craft shoulder holster…
I purchased a craft shoulder holster for Christmas and had it for two days and wore it about 3 times and two of the harness fasteners came apart and were lost. I contacted Craft by email and was advised that I could buy a replacement kit for approximately $10. I like the looks and fit of the rig but feel that Craft should replace the screws at no cost to me. Although I really like the holster rig itself I will never buy anything from Craft again.
Jim
After being asked to contact craft holsters I was still advised it was my fault the fasteners fell out and I could purchase the parts for $10. Thanks for the very poor customer support.

Customer service needs improvement
I finally received a response on 2.9.2025 from Craft Holsters from my 10.19.2024 review, it took them almost 4 months to even respond. Their response said they would address their customer service. Yeah, I will not be ordering from them again!!!
The leather holster and mag pouch are of good quality. I don’t have an issue with product. I have an issue with their service.
I ordered a leather holster and mag pouch on 10.10.2024 and received a 10% discount. I received an email that my order was shipped on 10.14.2024. I went to their website and saw they had a 20% discount. I emailed customer service and asked if they would extend the 20% discount as I just ordered it. This was the response that I received, and I quote:
“Yo got a 10% discount on your latest order. It is possible to set only one type of discount code at a time, not more.”
I have ordered several items without having to speak with customer service. I was not asking anything out of the ordinary. Is Craft Holsters willing to lose a customer over $15. I can afford that amount; however it is the principle of the matter.
I don’t plan on purchasing anything else from Craft Holsters unless this is resolved in the way that is fair.

We sincerely apologize for the way your discount inquiry was handled. The response you received is not reflective of our customer service standards, and we'll be addressing this internally. Please contact us directly at [email protected] with your order details so we can apply the additional discount.

Craft holsters has a great marketing…
Craft holsters has a great marketing department that's for sure. I purchased and received a shoulder holster for my S&W 686 3 inch 357 magnum. The craftsmanship was good and product looked very good. I spent about an hour getting the straps right for my dimensions . The fit was so sloppy and the revolver flopped around. It was a total joke and I would never consider leaving the house carrying like that. I bought this for professional use so very disappointed. I asked for a refund however they insisted I go through a process of filling out a form and taking a bunch of photos. I bought this so I can work...I don't have time for that. The design sucks for a heavy revolver and there's no making it better. I'll add it to my box full of useless holsters that promised to be the ultimate but were ultimate duds. Its good for playing dress up but if your serious about packing heat, this is not the one for you.

No-go holster
Well, first off, it took a while to make, but it shipped quickly, until it hit the states, then the FedEx driver dumped the package off at the post office instead of my street address, but that’s FedEx’s issue. Next, the thumb strap that holds the revolver securely is too short, and/or the snaps are too far back, and no matter how much I’ve worked with it, it will not snap. Smaller revolvers would fit, but I’m talking Ruger new model Super Blackhawk .44 Mag, with a 5.5” barrel here.
Update: I improvised a jig setup, and was able to stretch the strap 1/2" and snap it around the revolver. Will keep it that way until tomorrow. Not easy, but doable.

Hey sir!
First of all, thank you for your feedback. Secondly, and more importantly, I'm very sorry to hear the strap on your holster is a bit too short. However, sir, it's always possible to stretch a thumb break strap by nearly an inch. You can do so simply by following our break-in guide, which is available here - https://www.craftholsters.com/break-in-guide.
Please, give the leather strap "break-in" a go and if it doesn't help, contact my colleagues at [email protected] and I'm sure they'll help you solve the problem. If you ordered the holster for the correct handgun model, I'm sure you'll be able to make it work.
Last but not least, I'm sorry to hear about the delivery issue. Just like you said, once orders leave our HQs, it's up to our delivery partner to get each order where we ask them to ... but they sometimes fail to do so. However, I'd still like to apologize for the inconvenience.
Please, contact my colleagues with regard to the strap length if the break-in doesn't help.
Regards, Al from Craft Holsters
